Manchester City v Manchester United – Sunday, 4.30pm
Punters can bet on Man City v Man United with William Hill
- It’s not been a great start to the campaign for Manchester City having now suffered two defeats in their first three Premier League outings, Pep Guardiola’s side are already six points behind the current PL champions Liverpool.
- This is the first time since 2004/2005 that Manchester City have lost two of their opening three league games, a loss here for Pep Guardiola’s side would mark the first time City have lost three of their first four since the 1995/1996 campaign, a season in which they were relegated.
- The Cityzens have won five of the last eight Premier League meetings against Manchester United but picked up just a point last season against Ruben Amorim, they haven’t beaten United in their last competitive fixtures (not including the community shield).
——————————– - Manchester United bounced back from their embarrassing cup exit to Grimsby Town with a 3-2 victory against Burnley before the International break but they had to wait until the 97th minute for their winner, something that won’t fill United fans with too much confidence.
- Andre Onana has left the club with Ruben Amorim brining in Senne Lammens as a replacement but the United boss has stated that Altay Bayindir will start at the Etihad Stadium, another goalkeeper under huge pressure right now.
- I think we should see goals here, not just because of the goalkeeping situation, but the fact that eight of the last ten meetings have seen both teams on the scoresheet, both sides are in a transition period right now but i think Manchester City will get the better of their rivals here.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Manchester City To Win, Manchester City 1-3 Manchester United
