With just ten games left to play in the Premier League, we’re now fully at the business end of the season, with three points becoming more valuable than ever.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the Premier League..

With no early kick-off in the Premier League this weekend, the first bunch of games across England will kick-off at the usual time of 3pm.

Everton will welcome West Ham to Goodison Park with both teams separated only by goal-difference, Ipswich Town will look to keep their survival hopes alive when they welcome high-flying Nottingham Forest to Portman Road. Elsewhere, just one point is the difference between Manchester City and Brighton ahead of their meeting at the Etihad Stadium, whilst Wolves travel to Southampton in a came which could all but confirm Saints relegation.

The late kick-off on Saturday evening comes from the Vitality Stadium, as Bournemouth look to keep their top six dreams alive with the visit of Brentford.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Saturday’s Premier League fixtures:

Everton v West Ham United – Saturday, 3pm

  • Everton’s impressive run under David Moyes continued last weekend with a 1-1 draw away to Wolves, extending their unbeaten run to eight in the Premier League.
  • However, that’s now four draws in their last five outings for the Toffees, no team have played out more stalemates in the Premier League than Everton (12).
  • Not only have Everton started to score goals since Moyes’ arrival, they’ve also started to concede a few, with all of their last five games seeing both teams hit the back of the net.
    ——————————–
  • West Ham looked to have turned a corner under Graham Potter following back-to-back Premier League victories against Arsenal and Leicester, although travel to Merseyside off the back of a 1-0 defeat on Monday against Newcastle.
  • The Hammers have struggled on the road recently, having won just two of their last seven away games across all competitions.
  • Only one of West Ham’s last seven games have produced three or more goals.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Everton 1-1 West Ham United.

Ipswich Town v Nottingham Forest – Saturday, 3pm

  • Ipswich Town are running out of time if they want to secure Premier League football again next season, they remain in the bottom three and are now six points from safety with just ten games left to play.
  • The Tractor Boys have won just one of their last ten games which came against Championship side Coventry City in the FA Cup, their last Premier League win came back in December.
  • Only Southampton have picked up less than Ipswich Town’s seven points from home games this season (W1, D4, L9).
    ——————————–
  • Nottingham Forest took another step towards securing a top four position in the Premier League following their 1-0 victory against Manchester City last weekend, a result which has extended their gap to four points ahead of fifth and sixth place.
  • The Tricky Trees will be looking to put a stop to their recent poor record away from home, having lost each of their last three Premier League away fixtures.
  • These two sides have met twice already this season in the league and the FA Cup just twelve days ago, they remain unbeaten against Ipswich in their last five meetings.

Prediction: Nottingham Forest To Win, Ipswich Town 0-2 Nottingham Forest.

Manchester City v Brighton & Hove Albion – Saturday, 3pm

  • Manchester City suffered their ninth defeat in the Premier League on Saturday away to Nottingham Forest, with the Cityzens dropping down to fifth and now two points behind the top four.
  • Despite City’s obvious struggles, they’ve won six of their last eight games at the Etihad Stadium, only losing to Real Madrid and Liverpool in that time.
  • Pep Guardiola’s side should be confident of getting back to winning ways here, they’ve beaten Brighton in their last eight meetings in Manchester going back to 2018.
    ——————————–
  • Brighton’s impressive form continued on Saturday with a 2-1 victory against Fulham, the Seagulls are now six games unbeaten in all competitions.
  • Fabian Hurzeler’s side will find themselves leapfrogging City with a win here and will head into the international break occupying a European spot.
  • Despite winning the reverse fixture 2-1 back in November, Brighton tend to struggle against City, with just two wins in their last sixteen meetings.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Manchester City To Win, Manchester City 3-1 Brighton.

Southampton v Wolverhampton Wanderers – Saturday, 3pm

  • Southampton went into the break at Anfield leading 1-0, however two quick fire goals for Liverpool and then another late on means it’s now twenty-three defeats for the Saints in their twenty-eight league games.
  • The writing looks to be on the wall for Ivan Jurić’s side, having picked up just nine points, they could well take over Derby County’s unwanted record of picking up the least amount of points in a PL campaign (11).
  • Defeat for Southampton here would leave them seventeen points from safety with just nine games left to play.
    ——————————–
  • Wolves will see this one as a really good chance to put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three, they remain six points clear of the drop following their 1-1 draw with Everton on Saturday.
  • This is the third away game in a row on the South Coast for Wolves following their double header with Bournemouth, in which they won their PL visit 1-0.
  • Another good omen for Wolves is their record against Southampton, they’ve won each of their last six meetings along with each of the last four visits to St Marys.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Wolves To Win, Southampton 1-2 Wolves.

Bournemouth v Brentford – Saturday, 5.30pm

  • Bournemouth had the chance to go within one point of the top six at the weekend but despite taking a 2-0 lead away to Tottenham Hotspur, they couldn’t see the game out and left North London with just a point.
  • It’s now just one win in their last five Premier League games which will be concerning for the Cherries as they enter this important stage in their campaign.
  • It could well become one win in six given Bournemouth haven’t beaten Brentford in their last six meetings, you have to go back to the EFL Championship in 2021 for their last victory against the Bees.
    ——————————–
  • A disappointing 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday evening has left Brentford down in twelfth as any slim hopes of securing a Conference League place seem to be disappearing.
  • However, life on the road has been a different story for Thomas Frank’s side, they’ve secured four consecutive wins away from home in the Premier League for the first time in their history.
  • Brentford won the reverse fixture 3-2 back in November, i think we could see an entertaining stalemate in this one.

Prediction: Evanilson To Score Assisted By Either Justin Kluivert or Antoine Semenyo (YourOdds), Bournemouth 2-2 Brentford.
