The Premier League continues this weekend and with just seven games left to play in this campaign, three points seem that extra bit valuable with so much still to play for.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the Premier League..

Chelsea return to Stamford Bridge after their trip to Poland on Thursday in the UEFA Conference League, they welcome Ipswich Town on Sunday afternoon, whilst Tottenham travel to Molineux to face Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Elsewhere, Liverpool will be looking to edge closer to the league title when they face West Ham at Anfield, before Newcastle United take on Manchester United in the hope of continuing their top five ambitions.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixtures:

Chelsea v Ipswich Town – Sunday, 2pm

  • Chelsea have got one foot in the UEFA Conference semi-finals after their comfortable 3-0 win away to Legia Warsaw on Thursday night, with the Blues maintaining their 100% record in the competition.
  • With the focus shifting back on the Premier League for now, Chelsea occupy fourth place at the time of writing but we’re at the stage of the season now where dropping points could really cost a side, the Blues are just two points ahead of Aston Villa in seventh, fine margins.
  • Enzo Maresca and co should get the job done here, despite a poor away record of late, Chelsea have been a different side on home soil where they’ve lost just two league games all season, they are currently on an eight game unbeaten run at Stamford Bridge.
    ——————————–
  • Ipswich Town look set for an immediate return to the EFL Championship after their 2-1 loss to Wolves on Saturday, the Tractor Boys are now twelve points off safety with just seven games left to play.
  • Kieran McKenna’s team have picked up just four wins from their thirty-one games since their return to the English top-flight, which is simply never going to be enough to stay in the division, although one of those wins did come in the reverse fixture back in December. (2-0).
  • These two sides haven’t met in West London since their FA Cup showdown back in 2011 but history also suggests that Ipswich Town could be in for a tough afternoon in this one, they’ve not beaten Chelsea here in their last seven meetings going back to 1992.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Ipswich Town, Chelsea To Win, Ipswich Most Cards & Chelsea Most Corners – YourOdds.

Wolves v Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, 2pm

  • The job that Vitor Pereira has done at Wolves has gone under the radar a little, they were right in the middle of a relegation battle when the Portuguese boss took over at the club, the Old Gold are now twelve points clear of the drop with recent wins over both Southampton and Ipswich.
  • Wolves will be boosted with the return of their star man in Matheus Cunha after severing another suspension, he’s expected to be in from the start at Molineux on Sunday afternoon.
  • Wolves have won each of their last three Premier League games, they haven’t won four top-flight games in a row since 1971, when they beat Stoke, Leicester, Newcastle and Manchester United, it’s been a long wait.
    ——————————–
  • Spurs will head to Germany next week still in their Europa League tie after a 1-1 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, although they’ll feel they should have won the game after having the better of the chances.
  • Tottenham are relying on success in the UEL to save their season, the Lilywhites are fourteenth in the Premier League at the time of writing and a defeat here would see them just two points clear of Wolves towards the bottom of the league.
  • This could be a struggle for Ange Postecoglou’s side, they’ve lost five of their last six away games in all competitions, whilst they’ve won here just once in their last five visits. It’s also worth noting that both teams have found the back of the net in six of the last nine meetings here between the pair.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Wolves 1-1 Tottenham Hotspur.
