After a midweek full of European action, the English top-flight returns this weekend with lots of games on offer.

Sunday’s Premier League action gets underway at 2pm with an all-London affair, as Crystal Palace take on Brentford, whilst Leicester City travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the other 2pm kick-off.

Aston Villa welcome West Ham to Villa Park in the first of two evening games, with kick-off at 4.30pm. Whilst the late kick off (7pm) on Sunday evening comes from Craven Cottage, with Fulham up against Manchester United.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixtures:

Crystal Palace v Brentford – Sunday, 2pm

  • It’s been a good few weeks for Oliver Glasner and co, Crystal Palace are now unbeaten in their last six games across all competitions, including three Premier League victories.
  • The Eagles have a chance to pick up three PL wins in a row for the first time since May 2024.
  • Their change of fortunes have seen Palace climb up the table and away from the drop, they sit twelfth at the time of writing and eleven points clear of the bottom three, some turnaround.
    ——————————–
  • Brentford were so close to following up their 2-2 draw against Man City with another draw against Liverpool in their last outing, only to concede two goals in additional time, heartbreaking for the Bees.
  • Thomas Franks side picked up their first away win of the season against Southampton at the start of the month, they’ve picked up just five points away from home.
  • These two sides have only met in the Premier League and after seven encounters, both sides have only won one each, with the remaining five ending in a draw. Their last five meetings have produced both teams to score.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Crystal Palace 1-1 Brentford.

Tottenham Hotspur v Leicester City – Sunday, 2pm

  • After back-to-back Premier League defeats, Tottenham bounced back on Thursday night with a 3-2 victory against Hoffenheim in the Europa League.
  • Spurs fans think Ange Postecoglou could be on borrowed time shortly if things don’t improve, his injury crisis continues with Dominic Solanke expected to be out for around 6 weeks.
  • The Lilywhites are just eight points above the relegation zone and without a win in their last six Premier League games, lose this one and the pressure will be piled on Postecoglou.
    ——————————–
  • Leicester City’s poor run continued with a 2-0 defeat to Fulham in their last outing, that’s now seven defeats in their last seven PL games.
  • Ruud van Nistelrooy’s side are only two points from safety but can’t let that small margin increase each week, wins are needed.
  • These two sides played out a 1-1 draw in their first game of the campaign back in August, the Foxes would bite your hand off for at least a point here just to stop the rot.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Tottenham to win, Tottenham 3-1 Leicester.

Aston Villa v West Ham – Sunday, 4.30pm

  • Aston Villa lost in Monaco on Tuesday evening which means they must beat Celtic next week to have a chance of claiming an automatic qualification spot in the UEFA Champions League.
  • Their focus must now shift back to the Premier League as they look to keep the pressure on the top four, they are currently four points Chelsea at the time of writing.
  • These two sides met just two-weeks ago in the FA Cup, with Villa winning that game 2-1.
    ——————————–
  • Graham Potter got up and running as the West Ham boss with a 3-2 victory against Fulham but was left disappointed just four days later after a 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on home soil.
  • The Hammers have won just two of their last eleven away games in all competitions.
  • Despite being a little short of attacking options, West Ham have scored in all but one of their away games in the PL, whilst both teams have scored in ten of the last eleven meetings between these two sides.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Aston Villa to win, Aston Villa 2-1 West Ham.

Fulham v Manchester United – Sunday, 7pm

  • After their 2-0 win at Leicester last weekend, Fulham are now just five points off the top six as they continue to dream about a European tour.
  • The Cottagers have lost just two games on home soil in the Premier League so far this season, although they haven’t beaten Manchester United here in their last eight attempts, going back to 2009.
  • Fulham provide entertainment at Craven Cottage, having seen both teams find the back of the net in ten of their eleven PL games here (91%).
    ——————————–
  • It looked to be a familiar story for Manchester United on Thursday after conceding a late equaliser against Rangers at Old Trafford until Bruno Fernandes found a winner in stoppage time.
  • Despite impressive results on the road against Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal in recent weeks, United have still only won two games away from home in the Premier League.
  • However, their record here is great having won seven of their last seven visits, that’s something they’ll take confidence from i’m sure.

Prediction: Fulham 1-2 Manchester United, Man United to come from behind and win or draw.
