Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Sunday’s Premier League fixtures:
Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, 2pm
- Having gone nine away games without a win in the Premier League, Brentford secured back-to-back victories on the road with a 2-1 win at Crystal Palace in their last outing.
- Brentford have been great at home so far but have struggled in recent weeks, without a win in their last five games in all competitions here.
- The Bees are one of four sides that have seen 74% of their PL games produce BTTS, they’ve also seen both sides find the back of the net in ten of their twelve league games here in West London.
——————————– - A 3-0 victory in the Europa League on Thursday evening secured a place in the last sixteen for Tottenham Hotspur.
- Ange Postecoglou’s side are desperate for a win in the league though, no win in their last seven has resulted in Spurs slipping down to fifteenth, just eight points off the relegation zone.
- The last five meetings between these two sides has produced at least four goals, whilst their three PL meetings in Brentford have ended in the points being shared.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Brentford 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United v Crystal Palace – Sunday, 2pm
- After a trip to Bucharest and a 2-0 victory, Man United return to Old Trafford where they’ll be looking to extend their winning streak to four games.
- Ruben Amorim’s side improved massively in the second half on Thursday night and claimed consecutive clean sheets for the first time since the Portuguese boss took over.
- Manchester United have won three of their last four meetings here against Palace, although the Eagles did take all three points in their last outing at Old Trafford.
——————————– - Crystal Palace have definitely turned a corner after their slow start to the campaign, they’ve lost just one of their last seven in all competitions.
- Oliver Glasner’s men are also unbeaten in their last seven Premier League games away from home, they have a chance to make it three PL away wins in a row for the first time since 2019.
- A win for the Eagles would move them above Manchester United and into twelfth place in the PL.
Prediction: Manchester United to win, Manchester United 2-1 Crystal Palace.
Arsenal v Manchester City – Sunday, 4.30pm
- Since their 1-0 defeat to Newcastle back in November, Arsenal remain unbeaten in the Premier League, they haven’t lost in their thirteen games since.
- Prior to this weekend’s action, the Gunners remain six points behind Liverpool albeit having played a game more, defeat here could see Arsenal’s title dreams come to an end.
- Despite their 1-0 win at the Emirates last season, Arsenal tend to struggle here against City, having lost six of their last seven Premier League games.
——————————– - A 3-1 victory over Club Brugge on Wednesday evening sparred Man City’s blushes in terms of an early UEFA Champions League exit.
- We all know about City’s struggles this season but a win here would move Pep’s side to within three points of Arsenal in second place.
- Even on Wednesday night, you could feel the nervousness from this Man City side, low on confidence which is not what you need when travelling to the Emirates.
Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Manchester City, Erling Haaland to score anytime.
