Now, let’s take a closer look at some betting angles for Tuesday’s Premier League fixtures:
Arsenal v Fulham – Tuesday, 7.45pm
- Arsenal went into the international break twelve points behind leaders Liverpool with just nine games left to play.
- The Gunners beat Chelsea 1-0 in their last outing, extending their unbeaten run to five games across all competitions, they’ve still only lost one home game from their fourteen league games so far.
- Mikel Arteta’s side could be boosted with the return of Bukayo Saka, their “Starboy” returned to training this week after a three-month absence.
——————————– - Despite dominating possession and creating double the amount of chances than their opponents, Fulham exited the FA Cup after a 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace in the quarter-final on Saturday.
- Marco Silva will hope his side don’t dwell on Saturday’s disappointing result, given the Cottagers still have a chance of securing European football for next season, just two points off the top six.
- Fulham have a terrible record away to Arsenal, they’ve never beaten the Gunners away from home going all the way back to 1914.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Arsenal To Win, Arsenal 2-1 Fulham.
Wolverhampton Wanderers v West Ham United – Tuesday, 7.45pm
- Wolves’ 2-1 victory over Southampton felt like a big win just before the international break, it’s given them a nine point gap to the bottom three with just nine games left to play.
- Vitor Pereira’s side have still got to play two of the bottom three teams in the Premier League, their destiny is therefore in their own hands but a victory here would put them closer to safety.
- Wolves haven’t beaten West Ham in their last three competitive games, they’ve only won three of their fourteen games at Molineux in the league so far.
——————————– - West Ham have won three of their nine league games under Graham Potter so far, they went into the international break having conceded a late equalizer away at Everton.
- The Hammers are seventeen points clear of the bottom three so they don’t have to worry about any sort of relegation battle, their aim this season will be solely to pick up as many points as possible under Potter.
- We could see both teams hitting the back of the net in this one, Wolves have seen this occur in 64% of their home games, whilst West Ham have the same percentage in their away fixtures.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Wolves 1-1 West Ham.
Nottingham Forest v Manchester United – Tuesday, 8pm
- Despite a cautious performance from both sides on Saturday evening, Nottingham Forest secured their first FA Cup semi-final since 1991 with a victory against Brighton on penalties.
- In the league, a 1-0 victory against Manchester City and then a 4-2 win away at Ipswich Town has given the Tricky Trees a little bit of comfort in the top four, stretching the gap from fifth place to six points.
- Nottingham Forest won the reverse fixture back in December 3-2, although they’ve won just once here against United in their last nine meetings.
——————————– - Manchester United players left for their international duties in great spirit, having won back-to-back games against Real Sociedad and Leicester City, confirming their place in the UEFA Europa League quarter-final stage in the process.
- Any chance of UEFA Champions League football for Ruben Amorim’s side will have to come via the Europa League, given the Red Devils are now twelve points off the top four with only nine games left to play.
- United have seen both teams score in six of their last seven games across all competitions, whilst Nottingham Forest have only lost two of their fourteen league games at the City Ground so far.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Nottingham Forest 1-1 Manchester United.
