Fulham then swept aside a moribund Aston Villa team on Thursday night, winning 3-0 in what became Steven Gerrard’s final one in charge of Villa. Harrison Reed smashed in the opener before Douglas Luiz lost his cool and saw red for the visitors. Aleksandar Mitrovic converted his second penalty in a week and a Tyrone Mings own goal sealed the win. Fulham climb to ninth in the table with the victory.

Next up for Fulham is a trip to Elland Road to face a Leeds side smarting after defeat at Leicester on Thursday night – the game kicks off at 14:00 on Sunday. Fulham have lost their last three league games against the Yorkshire side, but have never before lost four in a row.
