Premier League Odds: Predictions For Saturday 14th March
3/4 for Bournemouth to score two or more goals looks very good, as does 9/4 for a stalemate between Sunderland and Brighton. Arsenal to win 1-0 at 24/5 looks good, expect goals and a Chelsea win at 2/1, whilst Man City to win 3-1 at 10/1 looks appealing, all with William Hill.

Saturday in the Premier League will provide five matches throughout the day, with more drama expected.
At 3pm, Bournemouth will travel to Turf Moor to take on Burnley, whilst Brighton make the long trip up north to face Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.
Later in the evening, the league leaders Arsenal take on Everton at the Emirates Stadium, whilst Chelsea and Newcastle battle it out at Stamford Bridge in a mouth-watering encounter.
The action will conclude at 8pm in the capital, as West Ham United take on Manchester City with the hope of climbing out of the bottom three.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:
Burnley v Bournemouth – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Burney v Bournemouth with William Hill
- Burnley welcome Bournemouth to Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon having lost seven of their last ten league games here on home soil (D3), another defeat here would bring up eleven winless games on home turf in one season for the first time in the clubs history.
- Scott Parker’s side have failed to beat any of the sides currently in the top half of the table and with the Cherries sitting ninth ahead of their trip to Lancashire, it doesn’t look good for the Clarets but they are priced at 14/5 with William Hill to win here.
- Burnley picked up an unexpected point in the reverse fixture back in December with a 90th minute equaliser against the odds but they’ve lost their last two meetings here against the Cherries without scoring.
——————————–———————— - Bournemouth are now nine games unbeaten in the Premier League after their goalless draw against Brentford in their last outing but five of those nine games have all ended in a stalemate including the last three.
- Despite the Cherries expected to breeze through this one on paper, Andoni Iraola’s side are yet to win against a newly-promoted side this term, you can back Bournemouth to continue their European dreams here with a victory at 17/20 with the leading bookmaker.
- Bournemouth have seen ten of their fourteen away games in the Premier League produce at least three goals and with Burnley conceding at least two goals in six of their last seven games at home, the Cherries should be confident of getting at this leaky defence.
Prediction: Bournemouth Over 1.5 Goals (3/4), Burnley 1-2 Bournemouth (7/1).
Sunderland v Brighton – Saturday, 3pm
Can Brighton end their poor record away at Sunderland? Bet with William Hill.
- It’s been a bizarre week for Sunderland, having ended their four game winless run in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory away at Leeds United, they travelled to league one side Port Vale where they were dumped out of the FA Cup against all the odds.
- With Premier League safety all but confirmed for the Black Cats maybe some of the Sunderland faithful quite fancied a cup run but it wasn’t to be, they return their focus back to the English top-flight where they are just four points behind Brentford in seventh, it’s 23/10 for a home victory here with William Hill.
- Sunderland have won their last five home league games against Brighton, and are unbeaten in nine against them (W7 D2) since a 2-1 loss in April 1981, including a goalless draw in the reverse fixture back in December.
——————————–———————— - Fabian Hurzeler has relieved some pressure in recent weeks, back-to-back victories against Brentford and Nottingham Forest secured consecutive wins for the first time since November but travel to the Stadium of Light having lost 1-0 against Arsenal in their last outing.
- That defeat to the league leaders really frustrated Hurzeler and his side now sit fourteenth in the Premier League, any European ambitions are slowly disappearing but a victory on Saturday would bring them right back into play, the Seagulls are 23/20 to win here with William Hill.
- Plenty of goals aren’t to be expected here on Saturday given only four of Brighton’s last fifteen league games have seen three or more goals, i’m expecting quite a cagey affair in this one and a draw wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.
Prediction: Draw (9/4), Sunderland 1-1 Brighton (5/1).
Arsenal v Everton – Saturday, 5.30pm
Everton will be looking to defy the William Hill odds.
- Arsenal made it three Premier League wins in a row after their 1-0 win away at Brighton but the Gunners have played twice since then in two different competitions, a 2-1 victory in the FA Cup against Mansfield was followed up with a 1-1 draw away at Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday night, that’s now twelve games without defeat in all competitions.
- Say it quietly but Arsenal are definitely still on course to complete the quadruple, Mikel Arteta’s side are now seven points clear at the top of the Premier League albeit having played a game more than Manchester City, they’ve won three of their last four games here without conceding and are EVS to do it again here with William Hill.
- Arsenal have a really strong record here against Everton, they’ve lost just one of their previous twenty-nine meetings in the league at home, with victories in twenty-three of those and five stalemates.
——————————–———————— - Everton’s European dreams continued after a 2-0 victory against Burnley in their last Premier League game, they travel to the capital just one point behind Brentford in seventh and just five behind Liverpool and Chelsea in sixth and fifth respectively.
- The Toffees won’t mind being on the road again given they’ve lost just one of their last ten Premier League away games, whilst unbeaten in their six road trips (W4, D2), David Moyes’ side will be looking to defy the odds with William Hill at 8/1 for an away win.
- This is a tough ask though with Everton’s win back in April 2021 their only win here since all the way back in 1996, whilst boss David Moyes has won just one of his twenty Premier League away games against the Gunners.
Prediction: Arsenal To Win To Nil (EVS), Arsenal 1-0 Everton (24/5).
Chelsea v Newcastle – Saturday, 5.30pm
Check out William Hill’s odds for Chelsea v Newcastle United.
- Chelsea turn their focus back to the Premier League and finishing in the top four to secure a Champions League spot now seems even more important for the Blues given their 5-2 thumping in the UCL round of sixteen first leg against PSG, giving Liam Rosenior’s side a huge mountain to climb next week.
- The Blues put an end to their three game winless run last time out in the Premier League with a big 4-1 victory away at Aston Villa, they return to Stamford Bridge for this one where they’ve not lost any of their last fourteen meetings here against the Magpies, they are 4/5 to win this one with the leading bookmaker.
- Saturday night’s game should be full of goals given both of these sides have seen nineteen of their twenty-nine league games this season produce at least three goals, whilst four of the last five league meetings between the pair have produced the same.
——————————–———————— - Of all the Premier League sides in UEFA Champions League action in midweek, Newcastle United were the side that impressed and will feel a little hard done by having conceded a last minute penalty against Barcelona, but they travel to Spain next week still in the tie after the 1-1 stalemate.
- There’s no doubt that Eddie Howe’s side will need a UEFA Champions League triumph if they are to play in the prestigious competition next season given they are currently nine points behind Chelsea in fifth, this feels like a must win if they have any chance at all, you can back the Magpies at 14/5 with William Hill.
- Newcastle have avoided defeat in five of their last seven Premier League games against Chelsea (W3 D2 L2), more times than they had in their previous fifteen although they’ve not won here at Stamford Bridge since a 2-0 victory in 2012.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Chelsea To Win (2/1), Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle United (7/1).
West Ham v Manchester City – Saturday, 8pm
Check out William Hill’s odds on the big game between West Ham and Manchester City.
- It’s been some turn around in recent weeks for West Ham and after a 1-0 win away at Fulham in their last Premier League outing, they remain in the bottom three but only on goal-difference, they’ve given themselves a real chance of PL survival.
- The Hammers also secured their spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Monday night with a victory over Brentford via penalties, that’s now five games unbeaten on home soil in all competitions and are priced at 10/3 with William Hill to continue their fine form.
- However, despite their recent upturn in form, West Ham are winless in twenty Premier League matches against Manchester City (D3 L17), since a 2-1 win in September 2015. It’s their longest ever winless league run against an opponent.
——————————–———————— - It’s been a strange week for Manchester City, a disappointing 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League was followed up with a brilliant 3-1 win away at Newcastle in the FA Cup before taking a battering against Real Madrid midweek (3-0 defeat).
- Pep Guardiola’s side have no time to dwell on that UEFA Champions League defeat as each domestic game now is a must-win given the Blues are seven points behind Arsenal, although having played a game less.
- As mentioned, Manchester City have a really strong record against West Ham and they’re yet to lose here at the London Stadium in the league, winning seven of their nine visits (D2), i’m expecting another win here for Pep and co, Match Result and 4 or More Goals in the Match – Man City is priced at 5/2 with the leading bookmaker.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Manchester City To Win (19/10), West Ham 1-3 Man City (10/1).
