Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:
Everton v Chelsea – Saturday, 12.30pm

- Everton welcome Chelsea to Merseyside as one of just three unbeaten sides in the Premier League (W2, D4). Sunday’s 2–2 draw at Hull extended their run to six games without defeat — only the third time in the club’s history they’ve started a top‑flight campaign this well.
- It’s been 20 years since Everton last went seven league games unbeaten from the start, and home form suggests they’ve got every chance of matching it. The Toffees have won three of their four matches at Goodison across all competitions this season, all without conceding.
- They also tend to hold their own against Chelsea on Merseyside. Everton have lost just one of their last nine home meetings with the Blues (W6, D2), including a 3–0 win here in March. David Moyes’ side are 21/10 with William Hill to claim another big result on Saturday.
- Chelsea’s encouraging early form under Xabi Alonso stalled badly before the international break, with the Blues going three Premier League games without a win but returned in style with a 5-1 victory over Bournemouth, seeing them go 2-0 up after just three minutes.
- For all their attacking promise, the defensive issues remain glaring. No Premier League side has conceded more than Chelsea’s 13 goals this season, and they’ve failed to keep a clean sheet in 22 straight league matches.
- Despite just one of the last nine meetings between these sides producing BTTS, Chelsea’s defensive record is hard to ignore. William Hill make the visitors 14/5 to win while conceding.
Fulham v Hull City – Saturday, 3pm

- Fulham slipped to their fourth defeat of the season last weekend at Ipswich Town, leaving Álvaro Arbeloa’s side as one of just three Premier League teams still searching for their first win. With only two points collected, the Cottagers sit bottom of the table and badly need a response.
- It’s already a worrying start. Failure to win here would see Fulham equal their longest wait for a top‑flight victory at the beginning of a season since 1951/52 — a campaign that also ended in relegation to Division Two.
- This marks the 100th meeting between the clubs, though only the seventh in the Premier League. Fulham have won the last four clashes in all competitions and three of the last four at Craven Cottage. Arbeloa’s men are 7/10 with William Hill to finally break their duck.
- Hull City opened their Premier League return with back‑to‑back wins but haven’t kicked on, failing to win any of their last four league matches (D3, L1), including Sunday’s 2–2 draw with Everton.
- Sergej Jakirović still has his side well‑organised, and only five teams have conceded fewer than Hull’s six goals, though four of those came away from home.
- They’ll be tested again on Saturday. Hull’s last Premier League win at Craven Cottage came back in 2009, with their only victories here since arriving during Championship campaigns. The Tigers are 7/2 outsiders with William Hill to take all three points.
Newcastle United v Aston Villa – Saturday, 5.30pm

- Newcastle have made a steady, if unspectacular, start to the season with two wins, two draws and two defeats, though recent results have raised concerns. Their 2–1 win over Hull City at St James’ Park was sandwiched between heavy 4–1 losses at Leeds United and Coventry City, leaving Matthias Jaissle’s side searching for consistency.
- Defensively, the issues are clear. No Premier League team has conceded more than Newcastle’s 13 goals so far, and no side begins the round having shipped more league goals in 2026 than their 44.
- They’re also on a 12‑game run without a home clean sheet, their longest in the Premier League since 1999. Punters can back the Magpies at 3/1 on the William Hill price boost to win while conceding.
- Aston Villa haven’t enjoyed the start they hoped for either, with just one win from six Premier League matches. However, they head to the north east buoyed by a sensational 6–0 victory over Fenerbahçe in the Champions League on Wednesday — their biggest ever win in major European competition.
- Unai Emery will hope that result injects real confidence, and Villa arrive unbeaten in four straight away games (W3, D1). But history at St James’ Park is firmly against them: just one win in their last 18 visits in all competitions (L11, D6). The visitors are 2/1 with William Hill to end that run on Saturday.
