Premier League Super Sunday: Villa BTTS Win, Everton Value at 13/8 & Forest–Newcastle Draw Tops Tips

William Hill News tipster @Footy_Tipster previews Sunday’s Premier League action from across the country.

Burnley v Aston Villa Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Aston Villa To Win (11/5), Burnley 1-2 Aston Villa (13/2).

Crystal Palace v Everton Prediction: Everton To Win (13/8), Crystal Palace 1-2 Everton (17/2).

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle Prediction: Draw (12/5), Nottingham Forest 1-1 Newcastle United (5/1).

Sunday will see four games take place in the Premier League with more drama expected.

Three games will take place at 2pm, Burnley welcome Aston Villa to Turf Moor, Crystal Palace will take on Everton at Selhurst Park, whilst Nottingham Forest and Newcastle battle it out at the City Ground.

Sunday’s Premier League action will conclude with a huge game, as West Ham United take on Arsenal with both sides needing three points for different reasons.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Sunday’s fixtures:

Burnley v Aston Villa – Sunday, 2pm

View all available markets at William Hill.

  • Michael Jackson is the man in charge of Burnley until the end of the season, he took his side to Elland Road last week but a 3-1 defeat means it’s now just one win in their last twenty six league games for the Clarets.
  • They welcome Villa on Sunday having won none of their last thirteen league games here at Turf Moor, whilst just two wins from their last thirteen meetings with Aston Villa in the top-flight doesn’t make for great reading, the Clarets are 4/1 with William Hill to win here.
  • We could see goals here if history of this fixture is anything to go by, as each of the last six meetings between the pair have seen both teams find the back of the net, five of which also produced at least three goals.
    ——————————–
  • Aston Villa’s 2-1 defeat in the Premier League last weekend against Tottenham was all forgotten about on Thursday night after they thumped Nottingham Forest 4-0 to secure their spot in the UEFA Europa League final.
  • The Villans will be hopeful of beating Freiburg in that final which will secure UEFA Champions League football but that could all be secured on Sunday in any case, victory here should see Villa secure a top-five spot, they are the 6/10 favourites with William Hill to win this one.
  • Aston Villa have lost just one of their nine Premier League matches when facing a side already relegated (W5 D3), though that loss came against Burnley in May 2015 (0-1), riding on the crest of a wave right now, Villa should win this.

Crystal Palace v Everton – Sunday, 2pm

Think there’s value? See the current price at William Hill.

  • Crystal Palace return to Selhurst Park having secured their first ever European final on Thursday night, a 2-1 victory against Shakhtar Donetsk was enough to book their spot in the UEFA Europa Conference League final.
  • Given the Eagles remain eight points adrift of seventh place, albeit having played a game less, the UECL final looks to be the only route into Europe next season, Palace are 7/4 with William Hill to close the gap to Everton here with the leading bookmaker.
  • However, Crystal Palace tend to come unstuck against Everton having won just one of their last twenty-two Premier League games against the Toffees, they haven’t won any of their last eight meetings with their last league win in this fixture coming back in 2021.
    ——————————–
  • Everton must be feeling so frustrated right now, having won none of their last for games (D2, L2) whilst they’ve dropped a total of five points in their last three games due to conceding late goals, dropping them down to tenth and now three points off a European spot.
  • David Moyes’ side have picked up more points away from home in the league this season than on home soil, so another trip to the capital won’t bother them too much, especially given their record here at Selhurst Park.
  • Everton have lost just two of their sixteen Premier League away games against Crystal Palace (W8 D6), going down 1-0 in October 1994 and 3-1 in December 2021, therefore 13/8 for an away win here with William Hill looks to be value.

Nottingham Forest v Newcastle – Sunday, 2pm

Think there’s value? See the current price at William Hill.

  • Nottingham Forest’s ten game unbeaten run came to an end on Thursday night and it went with a whimper following a 4-0 thrashing at Aston Villa in the Europa League semi-final, losing 4-1 on aggregate.
  • Vítor Pereira’s side were missing some key players but their performance was simply very poor and they never really threatened Villa but they cannot dwell on that too much given they’ve got three games to secure Premier League survival, the Tricky Trees are six points clear of the drop, victory here could seal safety if results elsewhere go in their favour.
  • History of this fixture suggests the Tricky Trees might struggle here having won just one of their last fifteen top-flight games against Newcastle and losing nine of the last ten, with their last win in this meeting coming back in 2023, they are priced at 17/10 with William Hill to win on Sunday.
    ——————————–
  • Newcastle United put an end to a five game losing streak last weekend with a 3-1 victory against Brighton but they’ve won just four of their seventeen league games on the road this season, with only Sunderland and Burnley scoring fewer than their sixteen goals away from home.
  • The Magpies have faced no opponent more in the competition without ever losing an away game (W4, D3), having won four on the bounce here they can now make it five straight wins away against a single opponent for the first time in the top-flight.
  • This one is really tough to call but it’s a ground where Newcastle tend to enjoy, with Forest looking to put Thursday’s big defeat behind them, i’m going to sit on the fence here and back a draw with both teams on the scoresheet.
