Premier League Odds: Predictions For Sunday 1st March
19/20 for under 2.5 goals in Brighton v Nottingham Forest looks good value, whilst both Fulham to beat Spurs 2-1 at 8/1 and Manchester United to win to nil at 2/1 both look appealing with William Hill.
@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the English Premier League..
Sunday afternoon in the Premier League will offer up four games across the country.
At 2pm, Nottingham Forest make a trip to the south coast to take on Brighton, there’s an all-London encounter as Fulham welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Craven Cottage, whilst Manchester United return to home soil to take on Crystal Palace.
Later on Sunday, we’re in for another real treat as the league leaders Arsenal take on Chelsea in this London derby.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Sunday’s fixtures:
Brighton v Nottingham Forest – Sunday, 2pm
Punters can bet on Brighton v Nottingham Forest with William Hill
- Fabian Hurzeler relieved some pressure last weekend with a victory away at Brentford, that ended their six game winless run in the Premier League and has moved the Seagulls up to fourteenth, nine points above the drop and just six points off the top seven, displaying how congested this campaign is becoming.
- Victory for Brighton here would secure consecutive wins for the first time since November which ironically came against both Brentford and Nottingham Forest, whilst having won the reverse fixture 2-0, they can complete the double over Forest for the fourth time in their history, you can back the Seagulls at 21/20 to win this one with William Hill.
- There have been under 2.5 goals in seven of the last eight league games for Brighton, whilst the Seagulls have scored more than one in just one of their last six home games, proving to be quite toothless in front of goal.
——————————–———————— - Nottingham Forest are in huge danger of returning to the EFL Championship and after suffering late heartbreak on Sunday against Liverpool, the Tricky Trees continue to look over their shoulder as they remain just two points above the drop.
- Forest became the first team in Premier League history to have four managers in a single season after the appointment of Vitor Pereira, he got off to the perfect start away to Fenerbache in the UEFA Europa League but have lost both games since then, including Thursday’s second leg at the City Ground, they are 12/5 for a victory on Sunday.
- History suggests that Forest could struggle in this one as they are winless in their last five away league games against Brighton (D2, L3), i’m not expecting goals in this one and in terms of the result, i’m happy to call it down the middle and back a stalemate.
Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals (19/20), Brighton 1-1 Nottingham Forest (11/2).
Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, 2pm
Will Fulham pile the misery on Spurs? Check our William Hill’s odds.
- Fulham return to west London having stopped their three game losing streak in the Premier League with a 3-1 victory away to Sunderland last Sunday, a three points which moves Marco Silva’s side to just three points off the top seven as they keep their European dreams alive.
- The Cottagers will be confident on continuing their climb up the Premier League table having lost just one of their last six games at Craven Cottage in all competitions, whilst the cottagers remain unbeaten in their last four meetings with Spurs (W3, D1), William Hill have priced Fulham to win this 2-1 at 8/1.
- Fulham head into this game as favourites which is a good omen given they’ve won nine of their last eleven league outings when starting the game as the favourites, whilst a win here would complete a double for Fulham against Spurs for the first time since the 2003/2004 campaign.
——————————–———————— - Life at Spurs manager couldn’t have started much harder for Igor Tudor with his first game in charge coming against the league leaders and their bitter rivals Arsenal on home soil, a 4-1 defeat demonstrates just how much trouble Spurs are in.
- It’s quite incredible that we’re associating Spurs with a relegation battle but they are definitely looking over their shoulder with the gap to the bottom three now at just four points but with five of their seven wins coming away from home, this one could suit Spurs and you can back them at 23/10 to end this poor run of form.
- Tottenham Hotspur are the only side in the Premier League without a victory in 2026 so far, failing to win any of their nine matches (D4 L5), it’s only the fourth time they’ve gone through January and February without a league win.
Prediction: Fulham To Win (11/10), Fulham 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur (8/1).
Manchester United v Crystal Palace – Sunday, 2pm
Check out William Hill’s odds on Manchester United v Crystal Palace.
- Manchester United return to Old Trafford having extended their unbeaten run under Michael Carrick to six games now after their 1-0 victory away to Everton on Monday night, the Red Devils top the form table in the last ten Premier League games having lost none of their last ten league games.
- Monday night’s victory has moved United into the top four, they’ve picked up 27 points in their last 12 home Premier League matches (W8 D3 L1) – 16 more then they managed in their previous 13 games at Old Trafford.
- Manchester United won the reverse fixture back in November (2-1), they now have the chance to win back-to-back Premier League games against the Eagles for the first time since 2017/2018, William Hill have priced up a 2-1 win for United at 15/2.
——————————–———————— - Crystal Palace are a side in freefall but despite all the nonsense happening off the pitch, Oliver Glasner has steadied the ship recently with consecutive victories in all competitions for the first time since back in December.
- However, there’s no doubt that Sunday’s trip to Old Trafford will be a tougher test than their recent victories against Wolves and Bosnian side Zrinjski but they have a good record in recent years at Old Trafford, having won four of their last six trips here, winning their last two to nil, the Eagles are 4/1 to win this one.
- However, given the form of United right now and the fact that Crystal Palace have won just two of their last twenty-six away league games against sides starting the day in the top six, i’m going to back United to continue this fantastic run of form.
Prediction: Manchester United To Win To Nil (2/1), Manchester United 2-0 Crystal Palace (15/2).
