First up, we head to Lancashire where Chelsea make the trip to Turf Moor to face Burnley in the early kick-off.
We’ve then got give games starting at the traditional time of 3pm, Bournemouth welcome West Ham to the south coast, whilst Brentford make a similar journey to face Brighton & Hove Albion. Fulham take on the Premier League surprise package so far in Sunderland, Liverpool will be looking to bounce back against Nottingham Forest, with Wolves starting life under Rob Edwards when they welcome Crystal Palace to Molineux.
On Saturday evening at 5.30pm, we’re in for a potentially early Christmas cracker as Newcastle United welcome Manchester City to a raucous St James’ Park.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:
Burnley v Chelsea – Saturday, 12.30pm
Punters can bet on Burnley v Chelsea with William Hill
- Burnley return from the international break having lost their last two Premier League outings against both Arsenal and most recently West Ham, two results which see the Clarets enter matchday twelve outside of the bottom three only on goal difference.
- Scott Parker’s side have seen two of their three wins so far this season come on home soil but they won’t feel too confident with the visit of Chelsea, as they haven’t beaten a “traditional top six” side since February 2022.
- All five of Burnley’s league home games this season have produced less than three goals, the lowest in the league on home soul in terms of goals per game (1.8), they’ve not beat Chelsea in any competition since their 3-2 win in London back in 2017.
——————————– - Chelsea bounced back from their 2-2 draw against Qarabag in the UEFA Champions League with a comfortable 3-0 win against Wolves just before the break, the Blues now sit in third spot and just six points off the summit.
- Enzo Maresca will make sure his side learn from the last time they faced one of the newly-promoted sides, a 2-1 defeat at home to Sunderland was met with boos from his own fans, that remains their last defeat.
- Chelsea have a really good record here at Turf Moor, they’ve not lost any of their last ten visits (W9, D1), whilst they’ve scored at least three goals in each of their last five visits here, i’m backing the Blues to have more success here.
Prediction: Chelsea -1 Handicap, Burnley 0-2 Chelsea.
Bournemouth v West Ham – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Bournemouth v West Ham with William Hill
- Bournemouth’s brilliant start has just started to come to a head a little after two big defeats against Manchester City and Aston Villa, two defeats that have seen the Cherries down down to 9th, albeit just two points off third as the league starts to get congested.
- The good news for Andoni Iraola’s side is that they remain just one of five sides that are yet to face defeat on home soil in the Premier League, although their last victory here against West Ham came back in January 2019.
- The Cherries have scored two or more in three of their last four Premier League home games, whilst they’ve not lost three league games in a row since May 2024, so this one could be a good game to bounce back with.
——————————–———————— - Having waited since August for three points, West Ham United made it back-to-back victories under Nuno Espirito Santo for the first time with two important victories against both Newcastle United and Burnley.
- You could say the international break came at the wrong time for the Hammers but those six points have moved them up to eighteenth and now just inside the relegation zone on goal difference.
- West Ham are unbeaten against the Cherries in their last nine competitive outings, although five of those meetings have all ended in stalemates and despite Bournemouth being the favourites in this one on the betting market, i’m going to back West Ham to get something from their trip to the south coast.
Prediction: Antoine Semenyo Over 1 Shot On Target & Jarrod Bowen Over 1 Shot On Target (#YourOdds), Bournemouth 1-1 West Ham.
Brighton v Brentford – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Brighton v Brentford with William Hill
- November has been a fairly decent month so far for Brighton, having beat Leeds 3-0 here they then played out a goalless draw away to rivals Crystal Palace just before the international break, they’ve scored at least two goals in each of their last four Premier League games on home soil.
- The Seagulls have lost just one of their last seven games in the Premier League and haven’t lost on home soil since April, putting together a nine game unbeaten run on the south coast, whilst a clean sheet in this one would make it three in a row in the league for the first time since August 2022.
- These two sides are separated by only difference as we head into matchday twelve and with just one win in their last six Premier League meetings against Brentford, this won’t be straight forward for the Fabian Hurzeler’s side.
——————————– - Brentford travel to the south coast in fine form under Keith Andrews, with four wins from their last five games in all competitions (L1), the Bees have been a surprise package under the Irishman.
- However, for all their recent good form, life on the road has been a struggle so far for the Bees, they’ve managed just one win from their first five road trips in the league, conceding at least two goals in four of those five outings.
- The Bees themselves have scored two or more in four of their last five games in all competitions so seeing them grab at least one here wouldn’t be a surprise, although i’m edging towards Brighton to pick up all three points.
Prediction: Brighton To Score Over 1.5 Goals, Brighton 2-1 Brentford.
Fulham v Sunderland – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Fulham v Sunderland with William Hill
- It’s been a tough start to the season for Fulham and the international break might have come at the right time for the Cottagers, as they’ve lost five of their last six Premier League games (W1), leaving them just one point from safety.
- It’s been reported that boss Marco Silva is expected to be offered a new contract despite this concerning start, the Fulham boss will be glad to return to familiar surroundings on Saturday given they’ve lost just one league game here so far (W3, D1, L1).
- The Cottagers will also take confidence in the fact they’ve not lost any of their previous ten Premier League matches against newly-promoted sides (W5, D5), whilst they’ve won two of their last three meetings against Sunderland.
——————————– - It’s been a remarkable return to the Premier League for Sunderland who enter Matchday twelve in fourth place having lost just two of their first eleven games in the English top-flight.
- The Black Cats went into the international break after defying the betting odds once again with a 2-2 draw against the league leaders Arsenal, their last away game was also in West London just under one month ago, beating Chelsea 2-1.
- The Black Cats have seen just one of their first five away games produce three or more goals and with the last six meetings between these two sides producing both teams to score at Craven Cottage, i’m going to back a score draw in this one.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Draw, Fulham 1-1 Sunderland.
Liverpool v Nottingham Forest – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Liverpool v Nottingham Forest with William Hill
- Liverpool return from the international break with hopes of getting their season and title challenge back on track, Arne Slot’s side lost their last game 3-0 away to Manchester City, a result which now has the Reds eight points off the top.
- Liverpool have now lost seven of their last ten games in all competitions (W3, L7) which seems remarkable given how they cruised to the title last season, five of which have come in the league, that’s as many losses suffered in the preceding 49 top-flight matches.
- The good news for Liverpool is their brilliant record here at Anfield, they’ve lost just one of their last twenty-two home league games, they’ve lost just once here to Nottingham Forest since 1969.
——————————– - Sean Dyche picked up his first Premier League win as the Nottingham Forest manager just before the international break with a much needed 3-1 victory against Leeds United at the City Ground.
- The result moves the Tricky Trees to just one point from safety and seven points clear of Wolves at the bottom of the English top-flight but Forest travel to Merseyside as one of just four sides yet to win away from home in the league.
- If Nottingham Forest manage to defy the betting odds in this one and come away with at least a point, they’ll put together a three game unbeaten run against Liverpool for the first time since November 1993.
Prediction: Liverpool -1 Handicap, Liverpool 2-0 Nottingham Forest.
Wolves v Crystal Palace – Saturday, 3pm
Punters can bet on Wolves v Crystal Palace with William Hill
- Wolves are a side in trouble and there’s no doubt about that right now, they sit bottom of the Premier League table and remain the only side that are still yet to pick up three points so far, a start to the season which seen Vitor Pereira sacked.
- Rob Edwards is the new man in charge of the Old Gold but he has it all to do, with history showing that no side have ever survived relegation with a points tally as low as that of Wolves at this stage of the season, eye-opening.
- Wolves are winless in their last fifteen games in the league and would become only the eighth side in Premier League history to be winless after the first twelve games if they don’t manage to pick up three points on Saturday.
——————————– - Following a four game winless run back in October, Crystal Palace had bounced back with three wins and a draw in their last four games across all competitions, they’ll be hoping an international break won’t disrupt that form.
- Oliver Glasner’s side have the fifth best away record in the Premier League so far having taken seven points from a possible fifteen (W2, D1, L2), whilst the Eagles have lost just one of their last nine meetings against Wolves (W7, D1, L1).
- It’s worth noting that the last four meetings between these two sides have produced at least four goals and have seen both teams on the scoresheet, we could be in for more of the same in this one but i’m backing Palace to pile on the misery.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Crystal Palace To Win, Wolves 1-3 Crystal Palace.
Newcastle United v Manchester City – Saturday, 5.30pm
Punters can bet on Newcastle v Man City with William Hill
- It’s been a tough start to this Premier League season for Newcastle United and Eddie Howe, they’ve only managed to pick up three wins from their first eleven outings so far, putting them just two points above the relegation zone.
- The good news for the Magpies is that those three wins so far have all come on home soil and a return to St James’ Park on Saturday where they’ve also won each of their last five games in all competitions could potentially kickstart their season.
- Newcastle have failed to score in just one of their last eighteen Premier League home games but their record against Manchester City isn’t great at all, with just one victory in their last thirty-five top-flight meetings (D6, L28).
——————————– - It just seems like it’s going to be one of those crazy campaigns where anything can happen, Manchester City have already lost three of their eleven Premier League outings so far yet remain in second place, just four points behind Arsenal.
- Pep Guardiola’s side put down a marker just before the international break with a big 3-0 victory against Liverpool, this kind of form is important right now for the Cityzens are we all know how likely they are to kick-on after the Christmas period.
- This is a really interesting battle, City have scored in each of their last thirty-three Premier League games against Newcastle and even with an impressive record against the Magpies, they’ve won just two league games away from home this season.
Prediction: Jeremy Doku To Assist A Goal (Price Boost), Newcastle United 1-2 Manchester City.
