Premier League Betting Tips for Sunday 2nd November

Premier League Puma Ball 2025-26

This weekend will see the Premier League get underway for Matchday ten of this new campaign, with the table starting to take shape and a few teams already upsetting the apple cart, we’re all set for another weekend of pure PL drama.

@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the English Premier League..

The Premier League action on Sunday will get underway in East London, as struggling West Ham United take on Newcastle United for a much needed three points, before Manchester City welcome in form Bournemouth to the Etihad Stadium in what will be an intriguing encounter. Make sure to check out this weekends Acca on William Hill News.

You can view the Manchester City v Bournemouth Bet Builder on William Hill News.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and Premier League betting angles for Sunday’s fixtures:

West Ham v Newcastle United – Sunday, 2pm

Punters can bet on West Ham v Newcastle with William Hill

  • It’s been a dismal start for Nuno Espirito Santo in charge of West Ham United picking up just one point from his first four games in charge with the Hammers looking for their first win in the Premier League since beating Nuno’s Nottingham Forest back in August.
  • It’s another club that simply aren’t happy with how their football club is being run and that’s showing on the pitch, a 2-1 defeat in their last outing away at Leeds means West Ham remain in the bottom three, just two points from the bottom.
  • The Hammers have seen six of their last eight home games produce both teams to score but they haven’t beat Newcastle United here on home soil in any of their previous six games, with their last win coming back in 2019.
    ——————————–
  • It was a fairly slow start for Newcastle United to this Premier League campaign but they’ve started to find their feet and climb up the table. They travel to the capital having won five of their last six games in all competitions, whilst their 2-0 win in midweek against Tottenham in the EFL Cup makes it three wins on the bounce for the first time since April.
  • Eddie Howe will of course be concerned about the Magpies’ away form though, having not won any of their last seven league games away from St James’ Park, although they’ll be encouraged by the fact they’ve won two of their last three visits here.
  • I think we’ll see some goals in this one, especially as seven of the last nine meetings between these two teams have seen both teams find the back of the net but given the state of West Ham as a club right now, i’m backing an away win for the Magpies.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Newcastle United To Win, West Ham 2-3 Newcastle.

Manchester City v Bournemouth – Sunday, 4.30pm

Punters can bet on Manchester City v Bournemouth with William Hill

  • Just when you think Manchester City are looking back to their best, they travel to Aston Villa on a Sunday afternoon and get beat 1-0. That defeat at Villa Park last weekend was City’s first defeat in their last ten games across all competitions.
  • Pep Guardiola’s side took a midweek trip to South Wales on Wednesday night and despite going a goal behind against Championship side Swansea, City secured their place in the next round of the EFL Cup after ultimately dominating the game. (1-3).
  • The focus shifts back to the Premier League now and this feels like a tough game for City but the fact that they’ve won each of their previous ten meetings here against the Cherries will fill the Cityzens with confidence, seven of which have seen both teams on the scoresheet.
    ——————————–————————
  • Having got off to the worst possible start on a Friday night at Anfield back in August, Bournemouth haven’t looked back since and enter gameweek ten sat in second place in the English top-flight, having gone eight games unbeaten in the league.
  • Despite dropping points in recent games with several draws, the Cherries head to Manchester off the back of a 2-0 victory against Nottingham Forest last weekend, they’ve already upset the odds away at Tottenham and they’ll be hoping to do the same here.
  • This game excites me but you just can’t ignore the fact that Bournemouth have won just one of their last eighteen meetings against Manchester City since 2015, with the Cityzens winning seventeen of those, it’s a remarkable stat.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & Manchester City To Win, Manchester City 3-1 Bournemouth.
