Now, let’s take a closer look at some Premier League odds and betting angles for Sunday’s fixtures:
Brighton & Hove Albion v Brentford – Sunday, 2pm

- Brighton remain third after collecting 19 points from their opening nine Premier League fixtures. Fabian Hürzeler’s side followed last weekend’s impressive 1-0 victory at Manchester City with another 1-0 success against Getafe in the Conference League on Thursday.
- The Seagulls lead the Premier League scoring charts with 24 goals in nine matches. They’ve also conceded just seven times and kept six clean sheets, underlining their impressive performances at both ends.
- Brighton are unbeaten at the Amex this season (W3, D1), conceding only once in four home games. They’ve also won their last two league meetings with Brentford, with William Hill offering 10/11 for another home victory.
- Brentford sit sixth in the Premier League despite winning just two of their last eight matches. Keith Andrews’ side returned to winning ways with last weekend’s 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest, ending a four-match winless run across all competitions.
- However, protecting leads has been a recurring problem for the Bees this season. They’ve scored first in eight of their nine league matches but have converted only three of those into victories.
- Brentford remain unbeaten away from home in the Premier League this season, although all four trips have ended level. Both teams have scored in each encounter, with William Hill offering 5/2 for the visitors to secure their first away victory.
Crystal Palace v Liverpool – Sunday, 2pm

- Crystal Palace have slipped into the relegation zone following three consecutive Premier League defeats without scoring. Pierre Sage’s side suffered a 2-0 loss against Tottenham last weekend, leaving the Eagles 18th with seven points from nine matches.
- Defensive problems have been a major concern for Palace, who have conceded 21 goals in their opening nine league fixtures. No Premier League side has shipped more, while the Eagles have managed just nine goals themselves.
- Palace have lost three of their four home league matches this season. However, they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Selhurst Park in September 2025, with William Hill offering 4/1 for another surprise victory.
- Liverpool head to Selhurst Park following consecutive defeats across all competitions. Andoni Iraola’s side suffered a 1-0 home defeat against Arsenal last weekend before Wednesday’s 3-2 Champions League setback at Fenerbahce.
- Goals have been relatively difficult to come by for the Reds, who have scored 11 times in their opening nine Premier League matches. However, they’ve also conceded just nine goals during that period.
- Liverpool remain unbeaten away from home in the Premier League this season (W3, D1), collecting ten of their 15 points on the road. William Hill offer 4/7 for the visitors to extend that record with another victory.
Ipswich Town v AFC Bournemouth – Sunday, 2pm

- Ipswich have gone three Premier League games without victory, with consecutive draws against Nottingham Forest and Hull City following their narrow 3-2 defeat at Manchester City. Gary O’Neil’s side remain 14th after collecting 11 points from their opening nine league fixtures.
- The Tractor Boys have scored 14 league goals this season, although defensive performances remain a concern. They’ve conceded 18 times in nine matches, with only Crystal Palace shipping more.
- Portman Road has provided the majority of Ipswich’s points this season, with seven collected from four home fixtures (W2, D1, L1). The hosts can be backed at 11/4 with William Hill to secure another victory in front of their supporters.
- Bournemouth’s remarkable turnaround continued with Thursday’s 3-1 Europa League victory away at Sparta Prague, extending their winning streak to six competitive matches. Marco Rose’s side had failed to win their opening six Premier League fixtures but have since climbed to eighth.
- The Cherries have won three consecutive league matches without conceding, scoring seven goals against Sunderland, Manchester United and Leeds. That defensive improvement has been particularly impressive after a difficult start to the campaign.
- Bournemouth secured a 2-1 victory on their last visit to Portman Road in December 2024, although they lost the reverse fixture by the same scoreline four months later. Another away victory is available at 10/11 with William Hill.
Sunderland v Chelsea – Sunday, 2pm

- Sunderland remain bottom of the Premier League after seven consecutive league games without victory (D2, L5), collecting just five points from nine fixtures. Régis Le Bris’ side also suffered a disappointing 2-0 Europa League defeat against Dinamo Zagreb on Thursday.
- Goals have become a serious concern for the Black Cats, who have scored just seven times in nine Premier League matches. They’ve also failed to find the net in their last three home league fixtures against Arsenal, Brighton and Leeds.
- However, Sunderland completed a league double over Chelsea last season, winning both encounters by 2-1 scorelines, including May’s victory at the Stadium of Light. William Hill offer 5/2 for the hosts to produce another surprise.
- Chelsea climbed back into the Premier League’s top four following last weekend’s impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester United. Xabi Alonso’s side have now won three of their previous four league matches, collecting 16 points from their opening nine fixtures.
- The Blues have scored 19 Premier League goals this season, registering a league-high 53 shots on target. However, they’ve also conceded 15 times, highlighting some defensive vulnerability.
- Chelsea have won ten of their last 14 Premier League visits to Sunderland, although they’ve recorded just two victories from four away games this season (L2). The visitors can be backed at 19/20 with William Hill to secure another three points.
