Rodgers keen to secure Champions League spot

Leicester secured their place in the FA Cup final last Sunday for the first time since 1969 thanks to victory over Southampton. However, there’s no time to celebrate as the Foxes still have plenty of work to do in the Premier League to ensure they cement their top-four place.

Brendan Rodgers’ team have generally toiled at the King Power Stadium this season, having lost seven in the league, and their record of just two wins from their last five games against Crystal Palace suggests they could be in for another tough night on Monday.

The Foxes have kept just six clean sheets in their last 17 home assignments and face a robust Palace side that have conceded just 10 goals from their last seven fixtures. Expect chances for both teams, with both sides to score priced at 5/4.

Hodgson’s Palace to bounce back?

Palace’s Belgian striker Christian Benteke is looking to score in consecutive Premier League games for the first time since April 2017, and he is 10/3 to find the net anytime on Monday night.

The pressure, meanwhile, is mounting on Palace manager Roy Hodgson after a 4-1 loss at Selhurst Park to Chelsea last time out, and Leicester will be hoping to add more fuel to the fire in a big game for the home side.

Leicester’s FA Cup hero Kelechi Iheanacho has been in superb form recently with 10 goals in his last seven games, and he is 14/5 to get on the scoresheet first against the Eagles.

At the start of the season, these two teams drew 1-1 at Selhurst Park, and it’s 16/5 that this one also ends in a stalemate. A Leicester win is 4/9, with underdogs Palace priced at 7/1 for the three points.

With the likes of Chelsea, West Ham and Liverpool all on Leicester’s tails for a Champions League spot, Rodgers will be desperate for a victory. The Foxes are currently 3/10 for a top-four finish come to the end of the season.
