Premier League Betting Preview: Epic Odds on more Foden magic

| BY News Team

It’s as you were at the top of the Premier League after Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City all picked up midweek wins.

At the bottom, Nottingham Forest moved themselves out of trouble with victory over Fulham on Tuesday. And at Stamford Bridge, Cole Palmer’s hat-trick fired Chelsea to one of the most-dramatic Premier League wins in history over Man Utd.

This weekend’s action begins with Man City’s trip to Crystal Palace, while Everton’s clash with Burnley is huge in the relegation battle. Then, on Sunday, Man Utd host fierce rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford in a repeat of last month’s dramatic FA Cup clash.

As always, we’ll have great offers on all the action, including Epic Odds, Nicole Holliday’s picks, Enhanced Odds and much more. And, if you’ve not used it already, don’t forget your Epic Boost is available before you get a new one on Sunday.

To get you ready, let’s look at three of this weekend’s Premier League matches…

Crystal Palace v Man City – Saturday, 6th April @ 12:30

With a trip to Real Madrid on the horizon, Man City are in Saturday lunchtime action as they face Crystal Palace.

Pep Guardiola’s side have won six of their last eight visits to Selhurst Park and arrive on the back of an impressive 4-1 win over top-four chasing Aston Villa.

Palace are winless in four after losing 1-0 to Bournemouth on Tuesday (D2 L2). Can they summon the spirit that saw them come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 in the reverse fixture?

Here are some top bets for Palace v City:

Man City to win to nil – 19/20

  • City are unbeaten in their last eight Premier League away games against Palace (W6 D2).
  • They’ve kept six clean sheets in that run, including the last four.
  • Luka Milivojevic was the last Palace player to score against City at Selhurst Park. That was in April 2019

Eberechi Eze to have over 1 shot on target – 17/5

  • Eze has netted five goals in eight home games in the league this season.
  • The winger has had more shots on target than any other Palace player (23).
  • Had over 1 shot on target in two of his last three league home games.

Phil Foden to have a shot on target – EVS with Epic Odds

  • Foden has scored five goals in his last five Premier League away games.
  • The England star had three shots on target against Aston Villa on Wednesday, converting all three for a hat-trick.
  • He has 21 goals in all competitions this season.

Everton v Burnley – Saturday, 6th April @ 15:00

Burnley visit Goodison Park unbeaten in four league games (W1 D3), a run that has kept their survival hopes alive.

Everton are one of the sides the Clarets have in their sights. The Toffees are winless in 13 (D6 L7) and sit only four points above the relegation zone.

Both sides picked up valuable points in midweek. Who will get the edge in this relegation six-pointer?

Here are some top bets for Everton v Burnley:

Everton win and BTTS – 5/2

  • Burnley have lost six of their eight Premier League away games against Everton.
  • The Toffees have already beaten the Clarets twice this season in all competitions.
  • Burnley have only kept one clean sheet away from home in the league this season.

Total Everton goals 2 – 9/4

  • Burnley have conceded 30 away Premier League goals this season.
  • They’ve shipped two or more goals in their last six on the road.
  • Everton have scored two or more goals in three of their last seven home league games.

Burnley to score first goal – 17/10

  • Burnley have scored first goal in three of their last four league games.
  • Jacob Bruun Larsen has netted two of those.
  • Everton have conceded the first goal in each of their last three Premier League matches.

Man Utd v Liverpool – Sunday, 7th April @ 15:30

The highlight of the weekend comes from Old Trafford as old foes Man Utd and Liverpool go toe-to-toe again.

Their recent FA Cup quarter-final was a thrilling clash that was decided in the final minute of extra time as Amad Diallo fired United into the semis.

Having already ended Liverpool’s quadruple hopes, can they now derail their title chances too? Erik ten Hag will be desperate for a reaction after their late defeat to Chelsea on Thursday.

Here are some top bets for Man Utd v Liverpool:

Man Utd to win and two or more goals in the match – 9/2

  • Erik ten Hag has a win ratio at Old Trafford of 71.7%, winning 38 of his 53 games on home soil as Man Utd manager. That’s the best win ratio of any permanent Red Devils manager in the club’s history, just ahead of Sir Alex Ferguson (71.2%).
  • Under Ten Hag, United have won four of their five home Premier League matches against teams starting the day in the top-four.
  • Liverpool have scored in their last 26 away matches, netting 61 times.
  • United conceded four goals against Chelsea on Thursday, including two in stoppage time (90+10 and 90+11).

Mohamed Salah & Darwin Nunez both to score at any time – 3/1 with Build #YourOdds

  • Salah has scored in each of his last three Premier League away games against Man Utd, netting five goals in total.
  • Nunez has been involved in eight goals in his last nine away appearances in all competitions (7 goals, 1 assist).
  • The Uruguayan is Liverpool’s leading scorer in away games this season with 11 goals in total.
  • Nunez opened the scoring after 17 minutes in Thursday’s 3-1 win over Sheffield United.

Bruno Fernandes to be booked – 13/8

  • Fernandes has been booked three times in last five games against Liverpool (all comps).
  • He was carded in the first half of United’s FA Cup win over Liverpool last month.
  • The United skipper has been shown more yellow cards than any other Man Utd player this season (8).
