Premier League Betting Preview: Pressure on Arsenal
Arsenal’s goal worries were blown away in midweek as they thrashed PSV 7-1 in the Champions League. Will that give them the boost they need in the Premier League title race?
The Gunners’ 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest last time out in the league, combined with another win for Liverpool, means Arsenal trail Arne Slot’s side by 13 points as they head to Old Trafford on Sunday.
By the time Arsenal kick-off against Man Utd, they could be 16 points behind given Liverpool host Southampton at 15:00 tomorrow. That comes after two sides battling for the top four, Forest and Man City, meet in the opening game of the weekend.
At the bottom, Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton remain cut adrift, with the Saints still battling to beat Derby’s 11-point record low.
