Premier League Betting Preview: Who will be top for Christmas?
Chelsea confirmed their title credentials last weekend with a 2-1 win over Brentford that saw them cut Liverpool’s lead at the top of the Premier League to two points.
With Liverpool facing Spurs at 16:30 on Sunday, Enzo Maresca’s side could go top for a few hours if they can beat Everton earlier in the day.
Man City’s title defence took another blow when they were beaten by a late Man Utd comeback. The champions now sit in fifth, a point behind fourth-placed Nottingham Forest.
At the bottom, it’s all change at Wolves and Southampton after Gary O’Neil and Russell Martin were both sacked after defeats in MD16. Old Gold will be hoping for a new manager bounce on Sunday after appointing Vitor Pereira.
