Next Premier League Manager To Leave Odds: Betting Suspended On Graham Potter
Betting has been suspended on the next Premier League manager to leave amid reports that Graham Potter will be heading for the exit door at West Ham United.
Prior to the suspension of betting, the Hammers boss was as short as 1/3 in William Hill’s next Premier League manager to leave odds and many believe that Potter is now on borrowed time at the London Stadium.
Ruben Amorim was next in the betting at 11/4 before the market closed, with Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Vitor Pereira available to back at 9/2.
While Burnley are clear favourites (1/3) to be relegated this season, manager Scott Parker is reportedly not under as much pressure as the three managers mentioned above.
Next Premier League Manager To Leave Odds:
Punters were able to bet on the next Premier League manager to leave (prior to the suspension of the market) and here was the current state of the market at the time of closure:
- Graham Potter – 1/3
- Ruben Amorim – 11/4
- Vitor Pereira – 9/2
- Bar – 10/1
Speaking on Saturday evening, William Hill’s spokesperson Lee Phelps, said: “Following another damaging loss for West Ham today, Graham Potter is the favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave.
“A 2-1 defeat at home to Crystal Palace puts him firmly in front at 1/3, with the results and noise around the club putting him under the most immediate pressure.
“Ruben Amorim is the nearest challenger to Potter at 11/4. The reds scraped by with a 2-1 win at Old Trafford against 10-man Chelsea and he looks safe for now. A loss at home for Wolves sees manager Vitor Pereira 9/2 to be the next to go.”
Wolves are red hot favourites to finish bottom of the Premier League table in 2025/26 but Pereira’s recent three-year contract suggests that he may be at Molineux for a while. For Potter, however, the clock is ticking…
