Isak favourite for PFA Player of the Year ahead of Liverpool debut
Alexander Isak is being tipped for instant success at Liverpool, with the Swedish striker now joint-favourite to win the PFA Player of the Year award, according to William Hill.
Bet on Football Specials with William Hill.
Isak is priced at 8/1 for the award, alongside Mohamed Salah and Erling Haaland, after completing a £125 million move to Merseyside this summer. The former Newcastle forward had been a double-figure price before the transfer, but his odds have been slashed ahead of what is expected to be his Liverpool debut this weekend against Burnley.
In other specials markets, Isak is 8/11 to score on his debut, 4/5 to hit 20 or more Premier League goals this season, and 10/11 to outscore his new teammate Salah across the campaign.

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps said: “Alexander Isak’s long-awaited Liverpool debut could come this weekend and we’re bracing ourselves for him to make an instant impact.
“We’ve trimmed his odds to win the PFA Player of the Year award from a double-figure price to 8/1 ahead of this weekend’s game against Burnley, in which we make him 8/11 to find the back of the net should he feature.
“In our other Isak specials markets, he’s odds-on to score against Newcastle this season (10/11), to net 20+ Premier League goals (4/5) and to outscore his new teammate Mo Salah (10/11).”
Having broken the British transfer record, there is already expectations for Isak to hit the ground running and make a good run for the PFA Player of the Year award.
