Lee Phelps’ Premier League Picks: Villa overvalued at Kenilworth Road

| BY News Team

William Hill spokesperson Lee Phelps gives his picks for this Saturday’s Premier League action, taking a glance at the teams towards the bottom of the league table to find some value.

Sheffield United fans will be watching this weekend’s action through their fingers, with a Monday night match against Arsenal and all their relegation rivals playing today and tomorrow.

Let’s look at Everton, Nottingham Forest and Luton’s games and see who may pick up valuable points. Obviously, the Toffees are already three better off after their appeal, but they’re only five points clear and with no win in nine in the league they’ll still be fighting for everything.

Their old boss brings his West Ham team to Goodison Park, fresh from the 4-2 win over Brentford. I think this game could easily end in a draw, but that’s boring, so I’m going for Jarrod Bowen to score at just under 2/1. He has 14 league goals this season and fancy him to get one here.

Forest have Liverpool, who are using every player possible in their quest for four trophies. A much-weakened team took Southampton apart in the week and less than seven days after winning the League Cup, I think they will win again here, but with both teams scoring at 17/10.

Finally, Luton host Villa and frankly I’m stunned at the 8/11 price for the away win. I fully expected them to be around the 1/2 mark. I think this is an open and shut case. Unai Emery’s side have put threes and fours past Forest, Sheffield United and Burnley and this is a Luton side who let six in against City in the Cup. If you want a bigger price go for Villa and BTTS at 19/10, but the simple win will do for me.
