Premier League Betting Preview: A big weekend at both ends

| BY News Team

It’s as you were at the top of the Premier League after Liverpool’s late winner at Nottingham Forest, Man City’s derby win and Arsenal’s thrashing of Sheffield Utd.

There were also big wins for Aston Villa and Spurs in the race for the final Champions League place, while six of the bottom seven lost.

This weekend sees huge matches at both ends of the table, none more so than Liverpool v Man City at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

As always, we’ll have great offers on all the action, including Nicole Holliday’s picks, Enhanced Odds and much more. And, if you’ve not used it already, don’t forget your Epic Boost is available before you get a new one on Sunday.

To get you ready, let’s look at four of this weekend’s Premier League matches…

Man Utd v Everton
Old Trafford
Saturday, 9th March @ 12:30

Back-to-back defeats have seen Man Utd slip in the race for a top-four spot. Can they turn their form around against struggling Everton? It’s 12/5 they win and both teams score. United have won 40 league games against the Toffees – a Premier League record.

There’s even more at stake for the Toffees who are nervously looking over their shoulders. Everton are without a win in the Premier League since before Christmas and that’s reflected in their odds for this one. An away win is 29/10.

Bruno Fernandes could be key for United. He’s had more shots on target than any other United player this season (25). Get 2/1 on him having over one effort on goal. Fernandes has scored four and set up three in eight games against Everton.

Crystal Palace v Luton
Selhurst Park
Saturday, 9th March @ 15:00

Luton could move to within a point of safety with a win over Crystal Palace on Saturday. The Hatters are 17/5 to leave with all three points and complete the double over the Eagles.

Only Liverpool (24), Man City (15) and Arsenal (15) have scored more goals in the final 15 minutes of games this season than Luton (14). Meanwhile, Palace have conceded more after the 75th minute than any other side. A late goal in this one is EVS.

This will be Oliver Glasner’s second home game in charge of Palace. He won his first 3-0. They are 23/20 to win a match with two or more goals in it. You can also get 5/1 on Eberechi Eze to score from outside the penalty area, something he did last week against Spurs.

Aston Villa v Spurs
Villa Park
Sunday, 10th March @ 13:00

It’s fourth v fifth at Villa Park, where a win for Spurs would see them move within two points of Villa. An away win is 6/4, while a Villa victory is 11/8.

Villa have won the last three meetings between these sides, scoring two goals in each. Douglas Luiz has scored two of those, while Ollie Watkins netted the winner in the reverse fixture in November. The England striker, who has bagged five goals in his last three league games, is 13/10 to score at any time.

Liverpool v Man City
Anfield
Sunday, 10th March @ 15:45

This weekend’s headline game comes from Anfield, with a solitary point separating Liverpool and Man City prior to kick-off. The prices reflect what is sure to be a close game – Liverpool 19/10, Man City 6/5 and the draw is 14/5.

Darwin Nunez netted a controversial winner at Nottingham Forest last weekend. It’s 4/1 the Uruguayan repeats the feat against City.

Meanwhile, it’s 10/1 on Erling Haaland to net in both halves. The striker bounced back from the miss of the season to net the third in City’s 3-1 derby win over Man Utd.

Mohamed Salah returned to training this week and will be a huge boost for Liverpool heading into this one. He’s scored 11 times against City and is 9/2 to net the opener.
