Manchester United Predictions (2025/26)

Manchester United’s 2024/25 campaign was underwhelming to say the least. The first half of the season saw a managerial change that clearly took the players some getting used to as they finished the season just three spots off the relegation zone with 42 points.
With a string of poor performances leading to the departure of Erik ten Hag in November and the introduction of Portuguese boss Ruben Amorim, many predicted United’s season to improve, but more bad results in the Premier League left them mingling in the bottom half of the table.
Their sole highlight was their run in the Europa League, where they reached the final but ultimately fell short to Tottenham Hotspur.
We analyse their chances in next season’s Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup below.

Premier League – 33/1
Manchester United are 33/1 to win the 2025/26 Premier League, suggesting they won’t be troubling the leading pack by the end of the season. After finishing 15th last season, we will have to see some serious improvements from the players and staff if they are to succeed this time around.
They enter the new season after an active transfer window which has seen Brentford midfielder Bryan Mbeumo and Wolves star Matheus Cunha join their attacking force.
They will need to find their rhythm early in the season, and a strong start against West ham, Bournemouth, and Everton could help them build some good momentum.
FA Cup – 12/1
Having failed to qualify for any European tournaments next season, United will look to compete for the two domestic knockout trophies available. After an upset against Fulham in the 5th round last season which saw them exit the competition on penalties, they are currently 12/1 to lift the FA Cup in 2026 behind Liverpool (4/1), Man City (9/2), Arsenal (6/1), Chelsea (8/1), and Newcastle (8/1).
With a less busy schedule and without the pressure of performing on the European stage, Amorim will look to go further in this competition next year. The FA Cup is no stranger to United – the Red Devils are the second-most successful team in the competition, lifting the trophy 13 times in the past.
English League Cup – 11/1
Manchester United lifted the English League Cup in the 2022/23 season and are currently priced at 11/1 behind Liverpool (5/1), Man City (6/1), Arsenal (7/1), Chelsea (8/1), and last year’s champions Newcastle (10/1).
Ruben Amorim’s side managed to reach the quarter-final last season but crashed out to Tottenham Hotspur after a seven-goal thriller in North London.
The domestic competitions will be a target for Amorim next season as he will be looking to get United back to winning ways.
