Mo Salah Next Club Odds: Saudi Move On The Cards?

Anfield Liverpool Football Club

With speculation over Mohamed Salah’s future continuing to build ahead of the 2026 January transfer deadline, the Saudi Pro League remains favourite to be his next destination, but new prices show a wider set of options on the table.

Any Saudi club heads the market at 5/2, with MLS, Europe’s elite and a possible stay at Liverpool all part of the discussion.

Salah’s future has remained a talking point ever since strong interest from Saudi Arabia first emerged, and that noise has only grown louder as the January window progresses. The market now has any Saudi club at 5/2, making a switch to the Pro League the most likely move if the Egyptian does leave Anfield this month.

Among individual clubs, Inter Miami are 11/1 to pull off a marquee signing for Major League Soccer, just ahead of Turkish giants Galatasaray at 12/1. Those odds suggest that while a move to MLS or Turkey is less likely than a Saudi bid, both are seen as realistic alternatives should a European exit materialise and the player favour a new experience over another Champions League run.

European heavyweights are also in the frame, though at slightly bigger prices than the Saudi route. Bayern Munich are 18/1, with PSG and Barcelona both quoted at 20/1 and Real Madrid just behind at 22/1.

Closer to home, Chelsea and Fenerbahce are each 25/1, with Napoli and Manchester City out at 33/1 and rivals Manchester United 66/1. Those Premier League prices underline how unlikely it is that Liverpool would sanction a direct move to a domestic rival, even if significant offers arrived. Instead, the market continues to frame any departure as far more likely to come from abroad.

William Hill spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “The Saudi Pro League has never really gone away as an option for Mohamed Salah and our latest odds reflect that, with any Saudi club leading the way at 5/2. Inter Miami, Galatasaray and several of Europe’s biggest names are all in behind, but at this stage a move to Saudi still looks the most realistic route if he does leave Liverpool in this window.

“Interest from across MLS and Europe means there are plenty of possible landing spots, yet the key question remains whether Liverpool are prepared to cash in now or hold firm and keep one of their greatest-ever forwards at the club beyond the January deadline.”

For now, Salah remains a Liverpool player and continues to be central to their season, but with the market live and multiple clubs circling, his future is likely to stay near the top of the transfer agenda until the window closes.
