Premier League Betting Preview: Slot set for Villa test
Arne Slot’s Liverpool continue to set the pace in the Premier League. The Reds are two points clear at the top after their win over Brighton last time out and defeats for Man City and Arsenal.
Liverpool continued their impressive start to life under Slot on Tuesday with a 4-0 win over Leverkusen in the Champions League. This weekend they host Aston Villa on Saturday night.
City, who were beaten 4-1 by Sporting CP on Tuesday, could replace the Reds at the top, for a few hours at least, if they can beat Brighton at the Amex.
Meanwhile, Arsenal, who lost 1-0 to Inter in the Champions League in midweek, face Chelsea in Sunday’s big game.
