Premier League preview: Who you got this weekend?
The Premier League returned with a bang last weekend with 28 goals across the 10 games, including five for Newcastle in their win over Aston Villa.
Last season’s title rivals also picked up opening round wins as Man City beat Burnley and Arsenal overcame Nottingham Forest.
The newly-promoted teams did not fare so well. As well as Burnley’s loss to Pep Guardiola’s treble winners, Luton were beaten 4-1 by Brighton and Sheffield United went down 1-0 to Crystal Palace.
Let’s take a closer look at three standout clashes in the top flight this weekend:
NOTTINGHAM FOREST v SHEFFIELD UNITED

Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United both lost on the opening weekend, so will be desperate to get off the mark when they meet at the City Ground on Friday night.
Forest have won their last three Premier League home games in the 2022/23 season. Meanwhile, the Blades have lost 11 of their first away league games in the last 17 seasons.

Newcastle put in a five-star display on the opening weekend as they brushed Aston Villa aside. How will the Magpies fare against defending champions Man City?

WEST HAM v CHELSEA

After 1-1 draws in their opening games, who will claim the bragging rights in this London derby on Sunday?
Chelsea came from a goal down to draw with Liverpool at Stamford Bridge and will be strengthened by the arrival of Moises Caicedo. The midfielder completed his record £115m move from Brighton on Monday.
West Ham will also have a new face in their squad as James Ward-Prowse looks set to make his debut. The former Southampton skipper has scored in two of his last four matches against Chelsea. He’s 4/1 to net at any time.
Hammers boss David Moyes has never beaten Mauricio Pochettino (D4 L1). Can he claim his first win over the Argentine? It’s 16/5.
