Premier League Sack Race Odds: Pressure Mounting On Vitor Pereira

Wolverhampton Wanderers manager Vitor Pereira is the new favourite with William Hill to be the next Premier League manager to leave, with the Portuguese into 3/1 after defeat to Sunderland on Saturday.
Ange Postecoglou was sacked by Nottingham Forest shortly after the 3-0 defeat to Chelsea at the weekend and Pereira is now in pole position to be the next Premier League manager dismissed after another disappointing result.
Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim – one of the favourites for the sack after Manchester United’s inconsistent start to the campaign – silenced a few of his critics by leading the Red Devils to a 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool, who have now lost four in a row in all competitions, have relinquished their spot at the top of the table and manager Arne Slot is into 14/1 to be the next top flight manager to leave, according to the latest betting at William Hill.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Following the dramatic firing of Ange Postecoglou over the weekend, we can reveal the likeliest Premier League manager to leave his position next is Wolves’ Vitor Pereira.
“The Portuguese coach is the 3/1 favourite in the betting, following Wolves’ poor start to the season. Ruben Amorim has drifted out to 9/2, with the Red Devils’ big away victory over reigning champions Liverpool.
“Interestingly, Arne Slot is just 14/1 to be the next manager to go, and with Liverpool now winless in four games, the Dutchman may continue to shorten if he can’t turn it around at Anfield.”
