William Hill have paid out another £100,000 on their free-to-play Final One Standing game following Liverpool’s victory at Sunderland last night.
Six players remained in one of the £100k pots, with four picking Crystal Palace, one siding with Nottingham Forest and one player picking Arne Slot’s Reds.
Palace threw away a two-goal lead against Burnley, while Forest were held to a draw by Wolves, meaning the confidence placed in the Merseysiders by one player saw them land the full £100k jackpot.
The free-to-play Final One Standing total payout is well into seven figures now, with another £20k pot adding to last night’s six-figure payout.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Another of our free-to-play Final One Standing games was won last night, as a single customer landed the entire £100,000 jackpot as the sole player to make a successful selection.
“On a bumper night of Premier League football, six players remained in contention for one of our £100k pots. Four of those would’ve been in dreamland when Crystal Palace went 2-0 up at home to Burnley, but their sudden capitulation dumped them out of the game. The single backer of Nottingham Forest also suffered the same fate, leaving one player sitting on Liverpool for £100k.
“The tension would have been unbearable as the Reds clung on to a 1-0 lead away to Sunderland, but the final whistle brought relief and elation for one lucky player, whose selection saw them take the entire £100k pot.
“In one of our £20k pots, we also had a one player select Aston Villa, while the other seven in their game went with Palace, Forest and Everton, seeing another jackpot handed out.
“Our total payout on free-to-play Final One Standing games in now well in excess of £1,000,000, and there is still more to be won!”
