The Scottish League Cup returns this weekend for the 2025/2026 semi-finals in it’s 80th season of Scotland’s second-most prestigious football knockout competition.

Hampden Park awaits as defending Scottish League Cup champions Celtic take on their fierce rivals Rangers in this Glasgow derby with the winner confirming their place in the League Cup final next month.

Now, let’s take a closer look at some Scottish League Cup odds and betting angles for Sunday’s fixture:

It’s been all change for both of these sides but most recently Celtic, after the surprising news that Brendan Rogers had resigned from his role as Celtic manager, the Hoops have turned to Martin O’Neill as an interim manager.
Celtic found themselves eight points behind the league leaders Hearts after a 3-1 defeat at Tynecastle in Rogers’ last game but since bounced back with a 4-0 victory on Wednesday night against Falkirk, reigniting some belief in this side.
Celtic won this final last year by beating Rangers on penalties but the Bhoys haven’t beat their rivals within ninety-minutes since the beginning of September 2024, five meetings ago which will concern a few ahead of this trip to Hampden Park.

It’s been a horrible campaign for Rangers so far but after appointing former Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl, there’s some real belief for the Gers, especially after winning consecutive games in the Scottish Premiership to leave them just six points behind Celtic.
Rangers came away from Easter Road on Wednesday with all three points after surviving a late penalty and although that was an important three points, this will be the first real test for Danny Rohl, we’ll see where Rangers really are at this stage of the season.
Six of the last ten meetings between these two sides have seen both teams find the back of the net, i still think there’s work to do at Rangers and therefore i’m going to back Celtic to get the job done here but in a close game.

Significant Conditions

The promotion runs from 08:00 (UK time) on Thursday 7th August 2025 until otherwise cancelled by us in accordance with these Terms (the “Promotion Period”).
This Acca Boost promotion is available to both online customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland using the William Hill website (williamhill.com – the “Website”) or William Hill iOS or Android Mobile app (together, the “Apps”) and UK retail customers in William Hill shops.
To qualify, place a Qualifying Acca on a Sports Betting Terminal or over the counter on Smart Hub SSBT in William Hill shops, or online via the Website or the App, during the Promotion Period.
A “Qualifying Acca” is:
1. A cash stake of any value (no minimum stake);
2. On any football acca made of 4 or more selections;
3. Each with odds of 1/5 (1.2) or bigger;
4. On the Promotion Markets.
The “Promotion Markets” are:
1. 90 Minutes;
2. 90 Minutes 2 Up;
3. Both Teams To Score;
4. Match Under/Over Goals.
No opt in required. If the requirements of a Qualifying Acca are met, the promotion will be applied automatically. If any acca contains any selection with odds of less than 1/5 (1.2), it will not be a Qualifying Acca.
Qualifying Acca wins (less the value of the original stake) will receive an “Acca Boost”, whereby winnings will be boosted by a variable percentage, dependent on the number of selections in the Qualifying Acca:
1. 4 selections – 5% Acca Boost
2. 5 selections – 7.5% Acca Boost
3. 6 selections – 10% Acca Boost
4. 7 selections – 15% Acca Boost
5. 8 selections – 20% Acca Boost
6. 9 selections – 25% Acca Boost
7. 10 selections – 30% Acca Boost
8. 11 selections – 35% Acca Boost
9. 12 selections – 40% Acca Boost
10. 13 selections – 45% Acca Boost
11. 14 selections – 50% Acca Boost
12. 15 selections or above – 100% Acca Boost
The increasing percentage of rewards in the Acca Boost reflects the relative risk of placing Qualifying Accas with a higher number of selections.
The following maximum Acca Boost amounts will be applied per Qualifying Acca:
1. For retail customers: £2,000
2. For online customers: £10,000.
There is no daily limit of Qualifying Accas.
In the case of void selections within a Qualifying Acca, the Acca Boost will still apply but the percentage applied will be calculated according to the final number of winning selections.
In the case of an Acca dropping to three selections or less, the acca will lose its Qualifying Acca status and Acca Boost will not apply.
Any Acca Boost on winnings will be applied as part of the standard bet settlement process.
Bets you place using free bets cannot be combined with the Acca Boost
Any acca that has been cashed out will not be eligible for an Acca Boost.
For retail customers, the promotion is not available on standard over the counter bets.
