Four William Hill Premiership fixtures take place on Saturday, with Rangers looking to close the gap on leaders Celtic and several sides desperate for points near the bottom.
Dundee United welcome Motherwell to Tannadice, while St Johnstone face Dundee at McDiarmid Park, with both matches kicking off at 3pm.
Aberdeen then host bottom-placed Hibernian at 5.45pm, before Rangers travel to St Mirren for Saturday’s 8pm kick-off.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some William Hill Premiership odds and betting angles for Saturday’s fixtures:
Dundee United v Motherwell – Saturday, 3pm
View all available markets at William Hill
- Dundee United head into Saturday unbeaten in six Premiership matches (W3, D3), with a 2-2 draw at Celtic Park their latest result. The Tangerines have scored 11 of their 16 league goals during that run, lifting them to sixth in the standings.
- United have collected eight points from five home league fixtures (W2, D2, L1), while Motherwell have failed to win on their last two visits to Tannadice. The hosts can be backed at EVS with William Hill to extend their unbeaten run.
- Motherwell finally ended their seven-match winless league run with last weekend’s 1-0 victory over St Mirren, following an entertaining 2-2 draw at St Johnstone. Alfred Johansson’s side remain ninth, although those results have given the Steelmen some much-needed breathing space.
- However, Motherwell have won just one of their six away league fixtures (D2, L3), conceding 12 goals during those trips. The visitors did beat Dundee United 3-0 in September and are unbeaten in four meetings with the Tangerines, with William Hill offering 23/10 for another victory.
St Johnstone v Dundee FC – Saturday, 3pm

- St Johnstone have gone four Premiership matches without a victory (D3, L1), although Simo Valakari’s side have shown plenty of resilience. The Saints rescued consecutive 2-2 draws against Motherwell and Kilmarnock, leaving them seventh with 14 points from 12 games.
- Defensive problems have become a concern, with St Johnstone conceding nine goals across their last four league matches. However, they’ve lost just once in six home fixtures this season (W2, D3), with William Hill offering 13/10 for a first victory over Dundee since October 2024.
- Dundee return to Premiership action following an impressive 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock, with Steven Pressley’s side collecting ten points from their last five league matches (W3, D1, L1). Those results have lifted the Dark Blues to fifth, just three points behind third-placed Hearts.
- Away performances have been less convincing for Dundee, who have lost three of their five league trips this season. However, they’ve won on their last two visits to McDiarmid Park, beating St Johnstone 3-1 and 2-0, with the visitors available at 17/10 with William Hill for another success.
Aberdeen v Hibernian – Saturday, 5.45pm

- Aberdeen have endured a disappointing start to the season, sitting tenth with just 11 points from their opening 11 league fixtures. Stephen Robinson’s side have suffered three consecutive competitive defeats, including last weekend’s 1-0 Scottish League Cup semi-final loss against Rangers.
- The Dons have collected seven of their 11 league points at Pittodrie this season, although they’ve failed to score in four of their six home fixtures. Aberdeen did beat Hibernian 2-0 here in April, with William Hill offering 7/5 for another home victory.
- Hibernian remain bottom of the Premiership following a five-match winless league run (D2, L3), leaving Marink Reedijk’s side with eight points from 11 fixtures. However, the Hibees received a timely confidence boost with Sunday’s 2-1 Scottish League Cup semi-final victory over Edinburgh rivals Hearts.
- Surprisingly, Hibs have collected seven of their eight league points away from home this season (W2, D1, L2), scoring in four of those five encounters. The visitors will be hoping their stronger away form continues, with William Hill pricing them at 17/10 to claim three points at Pittodrie.
St Mirren v Rangers – Saturday, 8pm
See how the odds stack up across every market
- St Mirren have struggled to maintain their impressive early-season form, winning just one of their last eight Premiership matches (D1, L6). Craig McLeish’s side suffered a 1-0 defeat at Motherwell last weekend, leaving them eighth with 14 points after 12 fixtures.
- Defensive performances remain a concern for the Saints, who have conceded 20 league goals this season. However, they’ve avoided defeat in their last two home fixtures and have lost just twice in six Premiership matches in Paisley, with William Hill offering 11/2 for an upset.
- Rangers have climbed to second in the Premiership following a nine-match unbeaten league run (W7, D2), leaving Derek McInnes’ side four points behind Celtic with a game in hand. The Gers also secured their place in the Scottish League Cup final with last weekend’s 1-0 victory over Aberdeen.
- Rangers remain the only Premiership side unbeaten away from home this season (W3, D3), while they’ve already beaten St Mirren twice across all competitions, winning 5-1 in the League Cup and 1-0 in the league. Another Gers victory can be backed at 2/5 with William Hill.
