@Footy_Tipster gives his best predictions ahead of this round of fixtures in the Scottish Premiership..
The SMISA Stadium in Paisley awaits as St Mirren welcome the league-leaders Hearts on Tuesday night in the William Hill Scottish Premiership.
Now, let’s take a closer look at some Scottish Premiership odds and betting angles for Tuesday’s fixture:
St Mirren v Hearts – Tuesday, 8pm
Punters can bet on St Mirren v Hearts with William Hill
- St Mirren had previously finished in the top half of the Scottish Premiership in their last three campaigns but as they sit tenth with just twenty points so far, a disappointing campaign means the Buddies have a relegation battle on their hands.
- Stephen Robinson’s side have won just three of their twelve league game son home soil this season scoring just seven goals in the process, no side has scored fewer at home, whilst just two of those twelve games have seen three or more goals.
- St. Mirren have only lost one of their last seven Scottish Premiership games at home to Hearts (W2 D4), a 1-2 reverse in April 2024, although they have only won one of their last thirty-three league games against opponents starting the day top of the Scottish top-flight table (D4 L28).
——————————–———————— - Hearts made no mistake on Saturday with a 3-0 away victory at Dundee United, a result which seems them still lead the way in the William Hill Scottish Premiership with a six point gap over both Celtic and Rangers.
- The Jam Tarts also have the best away record in the league, with eight wins from their twelve road trips thus far (D2, L2), whilst they have only suffered one defeat in their last eight league meetings with St. Mirren (W5 D2).
- This fixture falling on a Tuesday might benefit Hearts as they’re unbeaten in their last seven Premiership games played on a Tuesday, i don’t think this one will be straight forward but i’ll back an away win.
Prediction: Hearts To Win To Nil, St Mirren 0-1 Hearts.
