Hearts were 13/8 going into Tuesday’s clash with St Mirren but now trade at 5/2 for the title, with Rangers’ 5-1 thumping of Kilmarnock seeing their odds cut from 9/4 to 15/8.
Celtic remain the outright favourites at 6/5 despite their fixture with Aberdeen last night being postponed.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “There’s been another shake up in the William Hill Premiership betting after the midweek action, with Hearts slipping out of the top two of our outright market.
“Derek McInnes’ men are now 5/2 for the title after their 1-0 loss to St Mirren on Tuesday, seeing them drift out to third in the betting behind Rangers (15/8).
“Celtic were the midweek winners despite not actually taking to the field – their new price of 6/5 hasn’t been lower since the first week of January.”
