The Warm-Up: SUTTON AND BOYD, OLD FIRM PREVIEW, WHERE NEXT FOR HEARTS? CHAMPIONSHIP FINALE PREVIEW

On the Warm-Up this week, we have Scottish Football’s favourite pairing, Kris Boyd and Chris Sutton back together again for an Old Firm Preview, what next for Hearts and all their thoughts on the big Championship showdown.
The full episode is available on the Warm-Up YouTube channel and can be found here.
“Rub their noses in it”
Chris Sutton on the upcoming Old Firm clash: “They’re always big games, I couldn’t tell you if Celtic are going to take their foot off the gas a little bit but I think if I was in the dressing room, you’d want to be in a position where you went to Ibrox and really rubbed Rangers’ noses in it.”
“Miles off it”
Kris Boyd ahead of the weekend: “It means as much to them (Celtic) as it does to Rangers, there’s no getting away from it. Both of them will want to win the game of football, Brendan Rodgers will want to win it in style and I think for Rangers, in front of their own fans, they will want to put on a show, finish the season strong against your rivals, but the reality is, once the game’s finished, you need to assess and Rangers, domestically, have been miles off it again.
“A different treble”
Chris Sutton on Rangers’ ‘Different’ treble: “Rangers are on for a different treble, aren’t they, to Celtic? Celtic are on for the real treble, proper trophies and Rangers could possibly beat Celtic three times this season which would be incredible if they do, and then, what’s the gap, 17 points? Which just shows how poor a season Rangers have had.”
“Results will dictate”
Steven Naismith on his summer mistake: “Ideally, we would have got a striker in the summer, but I was never going to just sign a striker and this is probably something for me to learn, ‘I need to get somebody’, toss of a coin whether it will be a good one or a bad one, I wasn’t willing to do that and maybe sacrifice in the January if we get a better option, and that’s where me personally? I’ve made a mistake. I was looking at it longer term, but ultimately results are going to dictate.”
