Tottenham vs Liverpool predictions: odds and team news
Mauricio Pochettino’s men are 9/5 favourites in William Hill’s Spurs vs Liverpool predictions, whilst the Reds are tipped at 7/5, with odds for a potential draw at 12/5.
Liverpool’s early successes were emulated by Spurs, but Pochetinno’s men were brought back down to earth after a 2-1 defeat to Watford prior to the international break. Captain Troy Deeney led the comeback, contributing with a stunning header to seal the three points for the Hornet’s.
Spurs will need to remain compact against Liverpool and their ‘heavy metal’ offence. The likes of Sadio Mane and co have been revolutionary on the counter and will cause the North-London side defensive issues.
Yet, despite Liverpool clinching victories in their opening three games, Spurs will find a chink in their armour: defensive instability. Kane has already made headlines with his first ever Premier League goal in August in the 3-1 victory against Fulham, making him our pick as a potential scorer in the Liverpool vs Spurs predictions. The Englishman is a decent forecast to score against the Reds, with good odds at 10/3.
Head-to-head: Liverpool 2-2 Spurs, Spurs 4-1 Liverpool, Liverpool 2-0 Spurs, Liverpool 2-1 Spurs, Liverpool 1-1 Spurs

Prediction: Liverpool to win at 2-1: odds @ 17/2
Liverpool have failed to score in only one of their last 12 meetings with Spurs. Based on what they’ve already shown us this season, and we’re tipping that they will be just as prolific come Saturday in a 2-1 win.
The second installment in our Tottenham vs Liverpool predictions support this, yet the Reds may have to graft for it. Klopp’s men will need to be wary of Kane’s positioning, and Virgil Van Dijk will be key to this.
Best bet: under 0.5 goals: odds @ 10/1
Both Tottenham and Liverpool possess good attacking talent. Therefore, the prediction of a draw is not far-fetched.
It’s clear that the inclusion of Kane and Lucas Moura will provide Spurs with the attacking flair they need, yet Liverpool’s new and improved defence might provide them with few chances at goal.
Scorer: Mohammed Salah to score first: odds @ 7/2
The Egyptian has already bagged a brace this season, and will be looking to emulate last season’s successes. Salah will have to follow in Mane’s footsteps, as the Senegalese striker has bagged four goals in three games, but he is our pick to score first.
