Harvey Elliott Transfer Odds

| BY News Team

The arrival of Florian Wirtz has thrown Harvey Elliott’s Liverpool future into question and he could be on the move this summer.

After winning the Premier League with Liverpool and playing a vital role in England’s Under-21 Euros victory, Elliott has attracted interest from fellow English sides, as well as a number of top European teams.

Here we take a look at who is leading the race for the Liverpool midfielder’s signature and where he could end up.

Brighton 7/4

Brighton are the current 7/4 favourite to secure the signing of Harvey Elliott. Brighton’s attacking style of play and ability to maintain possession could suit Elliott, who likes to have the ball at his feet, take on defenders and create chances.

Having played just 822 minutes for Liverpool in all competitions last season, Elliott is seeking more game time and he should be guaranteed that at Brighton. With five goals scored in six games at the Under-21 Euros, he fits Brighton’s model of signing young players with bags of potential.

Seagulls fans will want to see this move happen as they hope to get back into Europe. They have recouped a lot of funds through the sale of Joao Pedro to Chelsea and supporters will hope to see that reinvested in more quality players.

Newcastle 7/2

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle are next in line to land Elliott. This looks another good option for the Liverpool youngster, with his ability to play on the right wing as well as through the middle making him a good option for Howe’s 4-3-3 system.

The Magpies have been in the hunt for a top-quality player on the right side of the attack for a few years now and although Jacob Murphy filled the void this season, he is not seen as the long-term solution.

Anthony Elanga appears to be close to a move to the North East, but even if he signs there could still be room for Elliott to compete for minutes with him, or slot into their star-studded midfield. If he’s looking for guaranteed minutes, Newcastle could be a tougher sell than Brighton.

Fulham 6/1

A move to Fulham would be a poignant one for Elliott as he started his career at the West London club, making his first-team debut back in 2018 when he was just 15. He made his Premier League debut just one year later, at the time becoming the youngest ever Premier League player.

A reported £4.3 million move to Liverpool followed, where he really made a name for himself. Now a move away from Anfield looks a likely option and a return home could well be on his mind.

There’s no doubt the Fulham fans would welcome a player of his quality with open arms as they look to mount a serious challenge for European football next season.

RB Leipzig 8/1

The Bundesliga has been a happy hunting ground for English players looking to either continue their development or bounce back from a dip in form. We have seen the likes of Jude Bellingham, Jadon Sancho and Jamie Gittens succeed on German soil and stories like that could convince Elliott to make the move.

RB Leipzig are his likeliest German destination, but there are a few factors to consider first. The German giants finished seventh last season and subsequently won’t be in any European competitions next season, possibly making them a less attractive prospect.

That said, Elliott may relish the chance to find his feet at the club for a season before returning to the European spotlight. If his time in the Bundesliga is anything like that of Bellingham, Sancho or Gittens, it could see him take his game to a new level and potentially earn a move back to the top end of the Premier League.
