The transfer window has opened, which can only mean one thing: plenty of transfer gossip and speculation.

We’ve taken a look at the odds available for a few of this summer’s biggest rumours.

Onana to be a Blue?

Frank Lampard has done a brilliant job in his first season in charge of Chelsea and with a transfer window without restrictions he will be sure to leave his mark on the squad going forward. Chelsea have already made the blockbuster signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, bolstering their attack, but they have now apparently set their sights on defensive targets.

Chelsea seem to have given up faith in their big-money goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, and it seems that Willy Caballero will simply be utilised as a number two. It appears that Ajax’s Andre Onana could be set for a move to Stamford bridge as the Cameroonian is currently EVS to join Chelsea in the transfer window.

With 74 clean sheets in 158 games for Ajax in all competitions, Onana will be a solid addition to a side that will no doubt be pushing for the Premier League title next season.

Bale coming home?

Gareth Bale has been the headline attraction for the past few transfer windows, with no-one being able to work out what’s going on with the Welshman and Real Madrid. It seems he lost the confidence of both his manager and the fans a while ago but he does always delivers the goods on the big occasions.

Bale is reportedly content staying in Madrid but will he leave during this window to play regular football again? Tottenham, and indeed many Premier League clubs, have been linked with a move for the 31-year-old but his wage demands could make even the biggest clubs wince.

He’s currently 6/1 for a return to the Premier League but the market leader is any MLS club at 11/2. Bale could follow in the footsteps of David Beckham and Steven Gerrard by making the move across the pond and would no doubt be an instant fan favourite in the United States.

Arsenal gunning for Coutinho

Mikel Arteta is heading into his first summer transfer window as a manager and he has a mighty task ahead at Arsenal. The Gunners already have the arrival of William Saliba, who they signed from Saint-Etienne last season but immediately loaned back, to boost their defence but have been missing a real playmaker this season. Dani Ceballos strode into form under Arteta, and it will make sense if the Gunners continue to push to sign him permanently from Real Madrid.

Philippe Coutinho would be a perfect fit to the Arsenal midfield and would bring a wealth of Premier League experience after having a handful of incredible seasons with Liverpool. He is currently 4/9 to wind up at the Emirates but his head may be turned by the Premier League champions. Former club Liverpool are currently 11/2  to bring him back to Merseyside and Champions League football could be enough to tempt the Brazilian back.

Traore set for the Etihad?

Adama Traore has been hot property at Wolves for a while now and was linked with multiple top teams in January after some explosive performances for the Midlands club. His blistering pace and brilliant strength make him a defender’s worst nightmare and he can be utilised in both a starting role or as a super-sub when the opposition defence has tired.

Manchester City are favourites to land the winger’s signature and are currently priced at 3/1 to sign him. Pep Guardiola’s side already have plenty of attacking players with the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva, but Traore is a different type of talent.

The red side of Manchester could also be in for his signature. Manchester United have been reported as keen to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho, but if that does not happen, they could turn to Traore. He is 4/1 to join the Red Devils.
