Arsenal’s Premier League away form has improved under Unai Emery to the extent that a draw at West Ham would equal their road points tally for the entirety of Arsene Wenger’s final season.
Yet, after one win in the last six games on their top-flight travels, the suspicion that the Spaniard has yet to truly banish their road-going blues continues to linger.
Luckily for them, West Ham’s defence has been in very generous mood of late.
West Ham vs Arsenal: Odds and Predictions
The Gunners are EVS favourites in the match betting, with their hosts priced up at odds of 5/2 for a first home win over their opponents since 2006 and the draw trading at 11/4.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have already held Chelsea and bested Manchester United at the London Stadium this season and taken a point in two of the north London outfit’s last three east London visits.
However, they’ve conceded twice or more in five of their last six top-flight home games and our West Ham vs Arsenal predictions have more than an inkling that such defensive generosity is unlikely to be ignored by razor-sharp visiting forwards Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

West Ham vs Arsenal predictions: correct score, best bet, scorer tips
Correct score prediction: West Ham 1-3 Arsenal @ odds of 12/1
The Irons’ mid-table perch belies the fact they’ve one of the leakiest home defences in the Premier League, with only relegation-betting shorties Fulham, Burnley and Cardiff shipping more on their own patch in 2018/19.
More alarmingly, half of the 18 top-tier goals they’ve let in at the London Stadium since the start of term have been given up to Burnley (2), Cardiff (1), Crystal Palace (2), Watford (2) and Brighton (2) inside their last six divisional outings there.
With the Gunners having bagged twice or more in 11 of their 14 away outings so far in the campaign, our West Ham vs Arsenal predictions see them out-notching the aforementioned also-rans, albeit falling short of the four Manchester City registered in east London.
Keeping clean sheets has been another matter for the visitors and, with Emery yet to oversee a Premier League shutout on the road the Irons are expected to find the net for a consolation.

If you’ve been scrolling since the top of our West Ham vs Arsenal predictions, you’ve realised by now it’s unlikely either side will be keeping a clean sheet.
All bar three of the Emirates club’s 12 league wins this term would have enriched those who shunned the simple win bet in favour of the bigger odds about them prevailing in a match in which both teams scored.
That enriching formula is expected to strike again, with the Gunners’ lethal Aubameyang back among the goals (four in his last four outings) and expected to make the difference as he vies with Harry Kane at the head of the Premier League top goalscorer standings.
The Goalscorer predictions: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to score two or more @ 4/1
Arsenal’s Gabonese goal machine has struck 16 times in 26 appearances for the club this season, yet bagged in only 11 separate games, meaning he’s netted no fewer than five braces.
Having scored in each of his last four Premier League London derbies, notching six goals in total, betting on him to net twice looks an attractive alternative to anytime goalscorer odds of 10/11.
In terms of West Ham scorer predictions, the return to fitness, however fleeting it may turn out to be, of Andy Carroll couldn’t have come at a better time.
The 6’4” striker has admitted he’s playing for his future and netted his first goal of the season after being introduced from the bench against Birmingham City in the FA Cup.
He’s a 6/4 betting pick to find the net at anytime, having scored four times across his last two home games against Arsenal for the Irons.
