Where will Marcus Rashford go next?

| BY News Team

The summer transfer window is open and the rumour mill is well and truly up and running.

Clubs and players alike will be considering their options ahead of the new season, and we could see several big names on the move.

One of these could be Manchester United and England winger Marcus Rashford. Left out of England’s Euro 2024 squad, he didn’t have the best of seasons, which had led to rumours of a move away from Old Trafford. There’s no indication from Rashford that he wants to leave, but with new ownership coming in at United they may be willing to listen to offers for the winger.

Our list looks at the most likely destinations for Rashford if he was to leave.

Barcelona – 13/8

Barcelona are the market leaders to sign Rashford this summer. Finishing second in last season’s La Liga by ten points, it’s clear that Barca need to strengthen, especially after Kylian Mbappe’s move to Real Madrid. A marquee signing is needed to close the gap and Rashford fits the bill; despite not having the best of seasons his talent is still there for all to see and he definitely belongs at the elite level.

PSG – 9/4

PSG are next in the market at 9/4. They have recently lost star man Kylian Mbappe who made the switch across to Madrid and need to make a signing to replace his output and may look to make a move for Rashford. With Mbappe’s wages off the books, this would free up funds to try and sign somebody like Rashford who would command a large fee for his transfer as well as his wages.

Arsenal – 9/1

Arsenal are 9/1 to sign Rashford this summer. Though it seems unlikely that he would leave his beloved Manchester United for another Premier League club, he could be the missing piece of the puzzle that Arsenal need in order to win silverware.

Mainly playing off the left, Arsenal have a number of options there but none which have fully claimed the position as their own and in Rashford they would have one of the best players in the world in that position. He would bring a goal threat to the side, something which Arsenal struggled with at times last season with the goalscoring responsibilities shared across the team.

Bayern Munich – 12/1

Another of Europe’s best, Bayern Munich, are in at 12/1 to sign Rashford this summer. Already active in the window so far, having just signed Michael Olise from Crystal Palace and finalising a deal for Fulham midfielder João Palhinha, Bayern are looking to right the wrong of last season where their streak of 11 Bundesliga titles was ended.

Strongest off the left wing, Rashford would link up with England teammate Harry Kane with Olise likely off the right, this would create a frightening front three for Bayern.
