Now, let’s take a closer look at some football betting angles for the upcoming UEFA Women’s European Championship fixtures:
Italy v Spain – Friday, 8pm
- Italy were just minutes away from progressing out of Group B but having conceded late against Portugal, they need a point here to qualify, although a defeat might still be good enough, the Italians have won just one of their last seven meetings against Spain.
- Spain proved why they are the tournament favourites on Monday evening with a 6-2 victory against Belgium, meaning they’ve now scored at least two goals in each of their last seven games in all competitions.
Pick of the game: Spain To Score Over 1.5 Goals
Sweden v Germany – Saturday, 8pm
- Both of these sides have already qualified for the next stage of the Women’s Euros but having both won their first two games, it’s still all to play for with the winner taking top spot in Group C.
- Germany are flying right now and their 2-1 victory against Denmark on Tuesday evening means they’ve now extended their winning streak to seven games in all competitions, whilst they’ve won five of their last eight meetings against Sweden (W5, D2, L1).
Pick of the game: Germany To Win
England v Wales – Sunday, 8pm
- Following defeat in their first game of this competition, England could have been eliminated on Wednesday evening but bounced back perfectly, a 4-0 victory against Netherlands has put the Lionesses back on track as they face debutants Wales in this final group game.
- It’s no surprise to see Wales sitting bottom of this “group of death” in their major tournament debut and despite giving France a scare in the first half, they lost the game 4-1, meaning they’ve now conceded at least three goals in their last three games.
Pick of the game: England To Score Over 2.5 Goals
Netherlands v France – Sunday, 8pm
- The Netherlands had the chance to progress into the next round on Wednesday evening but they underwhelmed against England and lost the game 4-0, putting them on the back foot now in terms of qualification.
- France are looking to top the group after back-to-back victories and will do so by just avoiding defeat on Sunday, they should be confident of doing so having lost just one of their last nine meetings with the Netherlands, whilst four of the last five meetings have seen both teams find the back of the net.
Pick of the game: Both Teams To Score
