• England felt hard done by in their curtain raiser against France on Saturday evening after being denied by a VAR call in an extremely tight call, the Lionesses went on to suffer defeat in their first game, becoming the first side to begin their defence in the Women’s Euros with a defeat.

• Winners of this tournament back in 2017, the Dutch have only failed to make it out of the group stages just once in their last four attempts, they know a victory here in Zurich would be enough to advance through and knock one of the tournament favourites out.
• The Netherlands have only failed to score in one of their last thirteen games, whilst the last four meetings between these two sides have all seen both teams on the scoresheet along with at least three goals.
