Now, let’s take a closer look at some football betting angles for the Tuesday’s UEFA Women’s European Championship fixture:
England v Italy – Tuesday, 8pm
- There’s been a lot said about England’s performances so far in this tournament and they definitely under-performed in the quarter-final against Sweden, the Lionesses had to find two goals in the last ten minutes to keep their hopes of back-to-back titles alive.
 - Sarina Wiegman’s side found themselves on the edge of elimination for the majority of that game, especially during the penalty shootout in which her side only managed to score three of their seven penalties, which was somehow enough to win the game.
 - England will have to perform much better if they are to secure a place in Sunday’s final but history suggests they should get the victory here, having won four of their last five meetings with Italy (W4, D1), including a 5-1 thumping back in February last year.
——————————– - Some might say that Italy could count themselves lucky given they’ve won just two of their four games in this competition and scraped through the group stage, before scoring a last minute winner against Norway in their quarter-final fixture to set up this semi-final clash.
 - This is the furthest that Italy have come in this tournament since finishing runners-up back in 1997 but they’ll have to beat England for the first time since 2012 if they want this run to continue.
 - We could be in for more goals here in Geneva on Tuesday, Italy have seen both teams score in four of their last five games in all competitions, whilst seven of their eight meetings with England have produced the same.

Prediction: Both Teams To Score & England To Win, England 2-1 Italy
