Nils Nielsen led Denmark to the final of Euro 2017 before making the switch to Switzerland after the Swiss failed to qualify for the 2019 World Cup. He has extensive experience in the women’s game, having coached at youth level for Denmark as well as the senior team, and then winning the 2018 FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cup as an assistant with China.
