Who are the star players for Spain?
Spain’s national side is arguably less intimidating than it was a decade ago, but nonetheless remains dangerous and extremely well-coached in attack. On its day, Spain’s midfield can out-fox any side on the planet, led by the imperious and experienced Sergio Busquets. Manchester City defender Rodri has enjoyed a good domestic spell and can provide good backup to his captain, whilst the young Barcelona duo of Gavi and Pedri have been touted as the next Xavi and Iniestas of their generation.
Upfront is where Spain may experience issues, with Atletico Madrid strike Alvaro Morata the only recognised striker, but look out for the playmaking genius of Dani Olmo in the advanced midfield position, with the likes of Ansu Fati providing the width.
