Airing across peak ITV1 at 9pm, The Summit follows 14 contestants as they attempt a 100km trek through the rugged New Zealand Alps, battling brutal terrain, extreme conditions, and dramatic strategic twists — all for a share of a £200,000 prize fund.
Hosted by Ben Shephard, the series blends physical endurance with psychological gameplay, delivering high‑stakes drama and emotional storytelling that ITV describes as one of its most intense new formats.
