DP World India Championship Predictions & Betting Tips (2025)

Golf Ryder Cup 2025

Rory McIlroy, Tommy Fleetwood, Shane Lowry, Viktor Hovland and Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald all tee-up in this week’s event at the Delhi Gold Club in India.

This new event is co-sanctioned between the DP World Tour and the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).

Hot from picking Marco Penge (20/1) to win the Open de España last weekend, our golf tipster Steve Mullington, suggests another five players to follow in India this week.

Tommy Fleetwood (6/1)

Fresh from his stupendous performance at the Ryder Cup, where he won four points from five matches, Tommy Fleetwood is one of the big headliners in India this week.

The Southport man, is enjoying the best season of his career, which included his first PGA Tour title at the Tour Championship in August

.Couple that with lifting the FedEx Cup and the Ryder Cup, and you have a golfer currently riding on the crest of a wave, hence Fleetwood is looking a value bet at 6/1 for this South Asian event.

Shame Lowry (18/1)

If anyone is still really buzzing from the Ryder Cup it will be the infectious character that is Shane Lowry.

The man who holed the crucial putt to secure at least a tie at the Ryder Cup, has only played in three DP World Tour events so far this season, the Irish Open, BMW PGA Championship and Spanish Open, so this Indian event will help him to retain his card.

Surprisingly Lowry is winless so far this season, but he does have four top-10’s to his name and his confidence will be extremely high this week.

Michael Kim (25/1)

A regular on the PGA Tour, Michael Kim can certainly hold his own on the DP Tour, which he did in handsome fashion just last month when he captured the French Open.

This Indian tournament will be Kim’s fourth DP World Tour start of the season after the Scottish Open, BMW PGA Championship and French Open.

The unassuming 32-year-old possesses a solid game, and won’t be inconvenienced by the climate in any way.

Anirban Lahiri (30/1)

Homester Anirban Lahiri certainly comes into the reckoning this week, as you can never leave any of the top Indian golfers out of your calculations when they are playing in their own back yard.

Regarded as one of the greatest Indian golfers of all time, LIV Golfer Lahiri has 14 Professional Golf Tour of India wins to his name.

A winner here in 2015, Lahiri knows how to put a good round together on this course, and is a great each-way bet at 30/1.

Keita Nakajima (40/1)

Having finished first and second in the last two renewals of the Indian Open, Nakajima has to go down on any shortlist that you compile for this tournament.

The Japanese player could only scramble 40th place back home in Japan last week, but the former number one amateur (Japan), seems to save his best for this tournament and is a very backable each-way price.
