Ryder Cup Odds: Europe Now FAVOURITES Following Fast Start In Foursomes

Team Europe are now odds-on favourites to win the 2025 Ryder Cup after a fast start in the Foursomes on Friday.

Golf betting punters from all over the world were tuned in to watch the action at Bethpage and the Europeans got off to a quick start, building an early lead and defying pre-tournament odds.

Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood, both of whom played key roles two years ago, were ruthless in their match with Collin Morikawa and Harris English and you’d imagine both players will be central to Team Europe’s chances of glory.

The tourists were underdogs before the opening tee shot but critics have been silenced after a fast start. There’s plenty of golf left to play but signs are promising for Team Europe backers.

Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Following an electric start for Team Europe, winning three of the four morning sessions, Luke Donald’s side are now 8/11 favourites to win the Ryder Cup.

“Keegan Bradley will be searching for where his team can salvage some points in the afternoon session at Bethpage, with the USA now 11/8 outsiders.

“While there’s still a long way to go, it’s been a fast start for the Europeans, and they’ll be looking to extend their lead in the afternoon to give them the best chance for the weekend.”
