Open de France Predictions & Betting Tips (2025)
A decent field has arrived just outside Paris for the 2025 renewal of the Open de France, which will be played this year at Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche.
Defending champion, Dan Bradbury lines up once more, as does another former winner in Guido Migliozzi. But despite being previous winners, neither player is fancied in the golf betting this time around.
Here are our four players to look out for this week:
Adrien Saddier (18/1)
Frenchman Adrien Saddier may well be disappointed with his second close shave in as many weeks after a play-off loss to Alex Noren at the BMW PGA Championship last weekend, but he will be eager to perform again this week on home turf.
Saddier has bagged six top tens this season, including his maiden DP Tour title on his 200th career start earlier this year in Italy. That was also his passport to a first start in a Major Championship, when he played in The Open at Royal Portrush.
Homesters are always a great call when it comes to the European tour, and Saddier is a very backable each-way price.
Victor Perez (30/1)
Three-time DP World Tour winner Perez makes his fourth consecutive appearance in the Open De France.
The 33-year-old, who represented his country in the 2024 Olympic Games, will be keen to put on a show for the home crowds at Golf de Saint-Nom-La- Bretèche, and is the kind of player to respond to the jingoistic encouragement from the galleries.
With just one top ten finish to his name in 2025 (Canadian Open, June), he’s a slightly risky betting proposition, but his results in his home country have been strong over the years.
John Parry (33/1)
John Parry is very much a Francophile having recorded his first ever victory on the DP Tour in France in 2010 at the Vivendi Cup.
He’s also won twice in France on the HotelPlanner Tour, most recently at the Open de Bretagne in 2024, so you would like to think that being back in one of his favourite countries, will bring out his A-game once more.
Ranking second to Tyrrell Hatton in approach play on the DP World Tour, Parry has had an excellent season with plenty of top tens gained after his win in Mauritius.
At odds of 33/1, punters should get a decent each-way run for their money as Parry charts his way around this short, tree-lined golf course.
Niklas Norgaard (50/1)
Winner of the British Masters in 2024, Niklas Norgaard has an indifferent season, but the Dane could well spark back into life on this lovely little French golf course.
Norgaard is one of the longest hitters in golf, which could easily set him up for plenty of birdie opportunities at Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche this week.
Having not made the Ryder Cup team this year, Norgaard will be keen to stay on the selector’s radar for the next one, and will come into France this week with a point to prove.
