Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Predictions & Betting Tips (2026)

Golf Open de Espana

The first signature event of the PGA Tour season takes place this week with a $20,000,000 purse up for grabs at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Defending champion Rory McIlroy is set to make his 2026 Tour debut after playing a few events in the Middle East over the winter.

McIlroy, who is ranked second in the world, joins world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and the world No. 3 Justin Rose on the starting grid, the latter of whom blazed around Torrey Pines a fortnight ago and landed this particular title in 2023.

Tommy Fleetwood, the No. 4 player in the world and reigning FedEx Cup champion, adds to the stellar line-up.

Here are my five against the field in the PGA Tour’s fifth event of the season:

Justin Rose

After Justin Rose delivered one of the most complete performances of his career to lift the Farmers Insurance Open, he jokingly put out a message on X “I’m coming for you Scottie!!”

With such a deep sense of belief, Ryder Cup veteran Rose looks sure to be challenging again this week. The Englishman has finished no worse than 11th in his last three visits to Pebble Beach, including a win here in 2023 and a T-3rd in last year’s event.

Si Woo Kim

I see no logical reason not to include Si Woo Kim in my betting roster again this week. The South Korean has got off to an absolute flyer in 2026 and I’m pretty sure he’ll be bang in contention come Sunday.

He tied for third at the Phoenix Open last weekend, just one shot off making the play-off, and he held every chance to win the event at one stage. The week before he tied for second at the Farmers, on the back of his 6th place at the American Express and finishing 11th at the Sony Open.

Viktor Hovland

The Norwegian Ryder Cup star, came with a sustained run of birdies in the final round of the Phoenix last weekend and is highly likely to pick up where he left off in this tournament.

Hovland is of course a course winner, having lifted the 2018 US Amateur trophy here with a dominant display over Devon Bling. He is comfortable around the greens and he can shoot low numbers, so what’s not to like about his chances?

Pierceson Coody

Coody has opened 2026 with three straight top-20 finishes, including finishing the runner-up to Rose at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Another top-10 finish in Arizona gave him a free pass to this signature golfing tournament, and I’m confident he’ll make a great fist of the opportunity he’s been gifted. He’s definitely an each-way play in my book.

Min Woo Lee

A superb back nine surge kept Min Woo Lee’s hopes of winning the Phoenix Open alive with one round left last week, but unfortunately the Australian went into reverse on the final day, finishing two over par for his round and nine shots adrift from the overall winner.

Having made the cut in his last five tournament, Min Woo Lee could well be the tournament dark horse.
