Masters Odds 2026: Fitzpatrick Backed For Augusta Glory After Valspar Victory
Can Matt Fitzpatrick defy the odds to win the Green Jacket at the 2026 Masters? William Hill look at his chances following success at the Valspar Championship.

The 2022 US Open champion has been playing some fantastic golf in recent weeks and punters will be hoping that he can bring his A-game to Augusta, and the momentum is certainly with him ahead of April’s event.

If you look further down the betting for the 2026 Masters, you can find some dark horses that are in with a real chance of going well at Augusta National this year.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Matt Fitzpatrick’s win at the Valspar Championship has had an immediate impact on our Masters book – he started the week at 33/1 and is now into 22/1 with us, having already attracted around 15% of all bets for Augusta.
“On this form, he looks a real contender not just for the Green Jacket, but at Royal Birkdale in July too, where he’s 22/1 for The Open, alongside 33/1 quotes for both the US Open and USPGA Championship.
“We’ve seen a few other interesting moves in the Masters market, with Marco Penge cut to 66/1 from 80/1 after his tied‑fourth at the Valspar, Jon Rahm nipping into 12/1 after a closing 63 and play‑off defeat to Bryson DeChambeau on the LIV circuit, and Scottie Scheffler easing slightly to 4/1 from 7/2 after a couple of quieter weeks by his very high standards, but it’s Fitzpatrick’s bounce‑back victory in Florida that really stands out as the performance punters are latching onto in the run‑up to Augusta.”
The annual Masters Champions Dinner, selected by last year’s winner Rory McIlroy, will take place on 7th April 2026 and Fitzpatrick backers will be hoping that he will be determining the menu in 12 months time.
