Tiger Woods’ odds of playing in The Masters have shortened to 6/4 with leading bookmaker William Hill after the golf legend’s return to action at this week’s TGL Finals.
Woods was previously priced 2/1 to tee it up at Augusta this year, but following his participation in TGL and optimistic comments about a 27th Masters start, he’s shortened into 6/4.
If Woods was to feature in the season’s first major, he’d be 200/1 to pull off what would be one of sport’s greatest achievements and win a sixth Green Jacket.

A win for Woods is considered such a long shot, that the bookmaker make him more likely to win the 2028 US Presidential Election (150/1) than conquer Augusta once again.
Spokesperson for William Hill, Lee Phelps, said: “Tiger Woods’ appearance in this week’s TGL Finals is the clearest sign yet that he’s serious about giving the Masters a go, and that’s been enough for us to trim the price on him simply starting from 2/1 into 6/4.
“In terms of actually winning a sixth Green Jacket, he remains a huge outsider in our main Masters market – our prices suggest he’s more likely to end up in the Oval Office than in the Butler Cabin.

Punters can back Tiger Woods at 150/1 to win the 2028 Presidential Election at William Hill. Meanwhile, he is a huge outsider to claim another Green Jacket – with an election succeed deemed more likely than winning at Augusta according to the latest betting.
